Liked: Location
Great location, so convenient to downtown activities and surrounding area. We loved the experience of staying in a historic home and it was comfortable with all the necessary amenities. My MIL has limited mobility. There was one step at front door and needed alittle help to get on it. But otherwise she was able to move freely around the home with her cane. Host was responsive and accommodating. We would stay here again on our next visit.

This English basement with its spacious porch was one of the best places we have ever rented. The hosts were easy to communicate with and friendly. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. The kitchen was well stocked and the large table seated six. Relax on the porch and listen to the birds sing. Location! Location! Walkable to Downtown Mall or minutes away by car. Easy access to and from I-64 and 29 N. We will be back.

Clean and tidy property---absolutely perfect for two couples spending time together and getting to know the lovely Charlottesville area. Super-responsive host to our questions and laundry needs. We enjoyed the large kitchen for starting each day's adventures. It was a treat to spend time in an historic 1850s property (with a few modern flourishes) to get a taste of living in that era.

What a wonderful apartment, in a beautifully restored historic home! The "English basement" was a warm and spacious home, with 2 cozy ensuite bedrooms, clean and comfortable, as well as a large country kitchen and separate living room. The host had provided sightseeing brochures and links, and restaurant recommendations, as well as kitchen and bath staples. The parking spaces were convenient and right next to the apartment, and the host responded almost immediately to a few quick questions we had during our stay. I would definitely recommend this apartment for other travelers EXCEPT during my future UVA reunion weekends! Thanks for the hospitality.
