Clean and spacious

This home seems recently revitalized. Minimal decor which isn’t bad- doesn’t feel like you are in someone’s personal space so much. Spacious. Beds firm- good pillows helped. Bath new and clean. Kitchen had basics. Only drawback is that is on a busy street so there is some road noise. Can park close to door for easy load in/out.

Great Choice

Me and my two boys went to North Carolina to zip line and sky dive so we chose this VRBO because it was inbetween these two activities. The house was perfect size and was very clean and we were able to check in early since there wasn’t anyone staying before us. The owner was very quick to answer any questions I had. It was a great choice for sure!!

Cozy little home

We really enjoyed staying in Belmont the house we rented was very quiet and really cozy very enjoyable and Chad was very good communicating to see if we needed anything and also helped us with getting into thr place when my husband and I couldnt gain access to the house he was very quick to respond to our needs we often come here this timebof yyear for Church so we would love to rent again next year if its available and if were here thank you Chad for making your home so enjoyable

Ejoyable

This place was fine for our group of 3. It was spacious in the living area, kitchen and bedrooms. We appreciated the retro, yet modern decor.We agree with other comments that mention no window coverings in the dining area which was odd. People on the main road could see in to that part of the house and kitchen. The road noise was a lot during the morning and evening, but did quiet down most over-nights.Overall cleanliness wasn't bad, but we did wipe down a few spots that hands touch often (remotes and light plates), because those did not appear to have been cleaned before our arrival.

Location

Couldn't have picked a better place to stay! The home is inviting, clean, off the street for privacy, and convenient to downtown. The host was awesome and quickly responded to my communication as well as providing me with all we needed for our stay. I recommend this home for anyone looking in the Belmont, NC area.

It was an okay stay

It was OK. The trashes were full when we got there, even though a cleaning company was supposed to have come, and there was black ants all on the counter in the kitchen. The washer machine was broken for the first two days the host came by during the day while we were out to put in a new one. Altogether it was an OK stay. There is very limited kitchen utensils, and things to cook with not even salt and pepper shakers. There are no televisions in any of the rooms and the towels were super thin. It’s acceptable if you are planning on staying somewhere, but not being in the rental itself very much.

Perfect for family overflow

Our stay in Belmont was centered around a visit with local family members and this home was the perfect place to overflow! Chad was flexible, communicative, and accommodating when a snow day changed our plans, and the location is convenient to Belmont neighborhoods, downtown, and walking distance to grocery/restaurant options.

Comfortable stay

Communication with Chad was fantastic- very quick! The home sits off a busy street, but close to the grocery store which was nice. Inside the house was great- clean, plenty of furniture to be comfortable, yet not overwhelming the space. Small house w/ample room to get around! Kitchen was well stocked for cooking (pots/pans) and a beautiful pod coffee maker- just remember to bring your own pods and cooking spices!

Outstanding Belmont Stay!

The property was even better than pictured. Nicely renovated 1950's rancher. Very open floorplan with large bedrooms and clean comfortable beds. Great rain shower head in modernized bathroom. Wooded lot with a lot of privacy yet walking distance to Harris Teeter. I will stay here every time I visit the area:) Also, Chad, the owner was communicative and easy to work with. Solid stay all around!

A lovely stay! Just needs curtains/blinds

Really lovely, comfortable spot for out-of-state rendezvous with friends. House has been completely redone inside and feels clean, spacious and fresh. And terrific communication with landlord. Bring a white noise maker; traffic does whizz by awful loud. But on the other hand, it's super super close to a grocery store, which is a plus! The only thing it still could use is more detailed instructions for coffee maker & lockup system; plus "starter" supplies like handsoap, bath soap & shampoo, and more adequate coffee materials (two coffee pods is scanty, but two each of creamer & splenda is just plain insufficient). And it DESPERATELY needs blinds and/or curtains for privacy! The bed & bath linens are extra luxurious, really lovely, and this is the first place I remember staying that actually gives you nice throw blankets to cozy up in; it feels like someone went all out on that front....but then just lost interest in the windows & glass doors, which are open to view from a public area and set in an open-floorplan house. That makes the living space really not usable after dark. Especially the one night I was there alone with the toddler, it felt very insecure. Add blinds or blackout curtains and - hey presto, it's perfect! Thanks for a lovely weekend............

Great Place, close to everything

Great home and location

Overall the place is pretty great. No complaints at all but to offer feedback - it would be nice to have a few more basics for travelers. We ran out of hand soap in the bathroom and a hair dryer would have been nice. And the chairs at the table could be more comfortable. The beds are very comfortable, the couches are comfortable and you have most kitchen necessities. Would definitely recommend.
