Everything was excellent. Host is easy to get a hold of and has a wonderful response time. Check In and Out was easy. Only suggestion was if using the living room for the pull out bed, it is very bright day and night(due to street light).
We throughly enjoyed our stay in Charleston! The host was able to accommodate us for an early check in and their communication was top notch. The house was beautiful and very clean! The bedrooms were large and having two bathrooms was a definite plus. The location was perfect for us, as it was far enough away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to get to local attractions easily (there is a DASH stop a short walk away). Be cautioned, there is a rental unit downstairs and you can definitely hear some of the noise from there and from outside passerby’s. However, this is to be expected in an older home and the host graciously provided noise machines and box fans to help block that out for sleeping. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in the area!
We were a group of five women. The location and size were great, and the space was cute. Here are some ideas for improvements. One of the rooms had no hanging or dresser space. Also no window covering on exterior door in bedroom. Full length mirrors in every room. A few kitchen spices/oil would also be nice. Interior table, even if folding. The outside balcony with table was a little scary.
