Italiana Hotels Cosenza
"First the good- staff were all very courteous and helpful. Although I wouldn’t say the breakfast was exceptional, it was still more than adequate with no complaints. Same with the restaurant. Now the not so good which only applies to guests with cars. The hotel does have free parking at a garage about 100 meters from hotel and not attached to hotel. And you can’t enter garage without first checking in. There is no reserved place in front of hotel to offload luggage which means you must double- park on a busy narrow street, or park illegally in front of a nearby fire hydrant while you check in. There is no bellman (other than the single front desk person) to help with luggage. And although the front desk person ( who was very nice and very busy) eventually helped with luggage, because he was all by himself, he simply placed luggage in room and rushed off without explaining the room how to operate lights and TV( though he came later upon our request to do so). So the bottom line is if you arrive by car with lots of luggage you may have a similar experience. If you have a car with only a little luggage only some of the problems above. And if you arrive via public transportation you can probably ignore the above."
