Quintocanto Hotel and Spa
"Had a 3 night stay at this 4 star hotel in October. A ok stay, but fell short on a number of things. Firstly be aware that the Spa is not free and has to be booked prior to use. 45 euros bought you an hour of sole use in the pool and sauna. We declined. For a 4 star hotel I would expect glass tumblers in the room for use with cold drinks and mugs and cups for hot drinks. Instead we had paper cups sealed in cellophane, a hangover from covid times perhaps? Room overall was very dark and the lighting at best poor. We over looked the rear entrance to a church so real view to speak off. The high dryer had a mind of its own and turned it self off when it got too hot, approx a 30 seconds in to use. Beds were very comfortable though and a good size. We stayed in a junior suite which according to the website all come with a bath and separate shower. This is not the case if you are in room 110 which we were in. Definitely no bath, which was a bit annoying considering that was one of our criteria when booking. Spoke to the reception about this but as the hotel was full, nothing doing. Breakfast was average to good but the same each day. Pastries were fresh and an ok selection. The apple juice was tasteless and we felt it had been watered down to stretch it further. Location was excellent and was not noisy as our room was at the back. Staff spoke good English. Bar closed at around 10pm and weren't too happy to serve beyond that. Most probably wouldn't return."
