Everything was so wrong. I booked an Executive Room. I went to check in around 1 pm and was told to wait till 3pm. Room given ahd no Smart TV, Y. Had simple 1980 cable channels, No bidet in toilet, No glass fir water or deinks. Only disposable paper cup. The AC was broken, making noise. No towels in bathroom initially, had to ask for it and they said for eztra towell, there will ve charges!! I told them that their arw no towels in the bathroom. Staff in the reception were so unprofessional and rude behavior and attitude

Consistently a great hotel. I been coming here for 10 years and they never disappoint. When im in Cebu City, i only stay at this hotel. I have over 20 visits.

I have been coming to the Mandarin for several years now, and have always enjoyed my stay. This time I needed to stay at a different hotel (Seda Hotel) for the first few nights as the Manderin was fully booked. This opened my eyes to the Mandarin's shortcomings. The Manderin is showing it's age. Although the rooms are nice, the halls for the rooms are quite bland. Also the breakfast at the Manderin can't even compare to the Seda Hotel. I like to have 3 bath towels with me in the room. The Manderin charged me 400php per night for the extra towel. Seems like they value money over customer care. With all this being said the Mandarin is a good second choice for future trips.
