Hotel Renovations Not Disclosed

I scheduled my wee long stay for my son's graduation from KSU. When I arrived i found the hotel undergoing major renovations. I was never informed prior to my arrival or i would have make other arrangements. I had a beautiful view of a dumpster. Obviously, I worked very hard to stay away from the hotel for the week. The management and/corporate offices knows when renovations will take place. There is no reason to inconvenience guests. Guests should be informed well in advance about any such work. I will never recommend this hotel again because of the lack of consideration by the management.

Construction is going on but the hours are very considerate. The exterior has an enormous dumpster out front which is off-putting. The woman who was on the evening check-in desk -Tina -had zero personal skills. Not a hello, not a smile. Just cracking her gum as she looked up the reservation. Very disappointing. The morning desk person was very nice. Room was great. Bed very comfortable. Great water pressure in the shower!

The ONLY 'negative' - the wifi was slow - and that the wifi and TV occasionally 'locked up' (froze').....the wifi was 'slow' the entire time, the tv 'froze' only for a few seconds at a time....The room, and personnel on staff (p.m. and a.m.) were EXCELLENT!!!

Too loud

The elevator was broke down. There was kids running up and down the hall late at night. You could hear every car passing the hotel on a side street and also every time a door shut it was extremely loud. I tried to go to sleep for 2 1/2 hours, but I could not. On Saturday morning there was a young man working the breakfast area. He worked very hard to make sure everybody was getting what they needed. He also was making sure everything was clean, hardest working person in this hotel.
