There was mold in the bathroom, a hole in the bathtub, the lights kept tripping the breaker, the microwave was broken but the last straw was the leaking bathroom ceiling from the unit above. We arrive in the middle of the night so it unfold over a few hours. Full vacancy meant we were without a hotel on our vacation.The staff never informed the guests above us to stop showering or that they would need to be moved! There were 4 showers taken in that time and not once did the staff go upstairs and ask them to stop using the water in their room. The water just continuted to run into our room and the electrical keep tripping the breaker as we packed up our belongings. Staff was pleasant and really tried to put us in another room. When we got to our new hotel, we noticed our clothes had absorbed the wet, moldy smell of the room. A day later, we were very ill with respiratory issues.

The lady helping was so rude tried upcharging out the butt. When we got to the room it was filthy smelled of mold and cat piss. The shower leaked everywhere when we tried to get in. Food crumbs all around the bed. Stains on the wall. When we left the maid went in for not even 4 minutes and said the room was “clean”. If you want clean don’t go here. I was so annoyed with this visit.

The lobby and breakfast area has been updated, and rooms are very clean. Nice for a motel of its age well maintained were possible. Entering & exiting is a challenge but manageable. The laundry/ice machine room should be swept & moped more frequently.

These weary travelers needed a safe and clean place to rest. Best Western Ackworth GA did not disappoint. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and there were so many conveniences; shampoo, conditioner, body wash, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, full length mirror right by the door, television, refrigerator, microwave, etc. Complimentary breakfast of eggs, biscuits & gravy, sausage, waffles, cereal, toast, fruit, juices, etc. was an unexpected bonus!

Place is excellent for its price and the staff is very helpful too. The only issue I faced was the hot water takes forever to come and the shower knob is not optimized forgot cold mix. Even if no daily service some replenishment of coffee etc would be nice.

This property is right off interstate, so convenient to get there. Staff was polite. Parking lot is very well lit. This is a motel, not a hotel (outside access to rooms). Only issue I had was the room smelled musty/mildewy when I got there. A/C worked great and the smell seemed to dissipate the longer it ran.
