Room size was good. I had a king size bed room facing the ocean. Room was clean. Bathroom was old and tired. In need of Renos. Room had a mini fridge. safe, iron and ironing board. All soaps and conditioners included. Snacks and drinks in room was not includued and charged if you eat them. Not cheap. My breakfast was not included in my stay at the Hilton. All you can eat breakfast was $35 Canadian dollar everyday. I opted out of the all you can eat and choose thing for the American menu. Pancakes were $8 CAN and an omelette was $12 CAN. Beach was not good. Very small, no white sand, no clear water and LOTS of locals soliciting. They don't stop and keep pushing for a sale or to provide a service. The main pool is an ok size. It's clean but the pool needs a makeover. Tiles missing and grout has green stains. There is a water slide but only for kids. Hot tubs looked ok but i never used them. A good number of pool chairs around the pool Drinks around pool priced a little high. Front deck staff speak engish. Enough to get by. The rest of the staff in the hotel forget it. My google translate was in high speed mode. Its funn, thinking about it, no one smiles there. I very weird vibe at the hotel. You figured being in a hot tropical country you would be happy all the time. Right now i'm in -18 degrees C with 2 feet of snow and i smile. for the sun. I never ate at the hotel for lunch or dinner. Way to expensive.
