Great Stay

We enjoyed our stay at the house and it was very comfortable and met all of our needs. The pool made for many days of relief with the weather in the 80's.

Cool Burrowing Owls in Neighborhood, No mold, No hot water

This is a rustic cottage w/ hot water only in primary ensuite bathroom.It doesn't reach K or 2nd bath. The other 2 bedrooms (queen &twin bed, respectively)use 2nd bath.House isn't ready to be on rental market 'til repairs are made.We notified FL. property manager in early evening (check-in after 4),a Th., so she could get professional to fix problems. The next day was a F.Handle to toilet in 2nd bath broke off, 1st time flushed on afternoon of arrival. Discovered local property mgr reports2 mgr in Germany.Local mgr doesn't have authority 2call plumber.As evening progressed, discovered more problems: electric outlets in LR/DR not up to Code (sank into wall).When local mgr came F a.m., she pronounced H2O in kitchen&2nd bath "hot".Her response to broken toilet handle was:"It was fine when house cleaner was there", implying we'd broken it.How could housecleaner do proper job w/o hot H2O? We were told handyman was on "well-earned" vacation. Neither ceiling fan/light fixture in primary nor queen BR reachable.I had 2get stool from garage 2turn on&off.Queen BR window had sign saying not2 open.That's exit if fire.No handyman came til 4th day of our vacation.We didnt know that telling mgrs wasn't same notifying as VRBO passgerms, you the electric , use the elec
