St. Lucia has been on our bucket list. Be weary of the location because it is a 2 hour drive of horror. The roads on this island are windy and it is scary! I would suggest getting a private transfer. We stayed on the Royalton side in the 5th building, 3rd floor. The rooms have wear and tear and the resort could use a refresh. We arrived at 5pm to be told our room wasn’t ready. The restaurants are difficult to get reservations at and the food was edible. Zen Hibachi was better than the others. The main pool was the best part. Everything is on island time so a chill state of mind is necessary. Honestly, we would suggest a closer resort to the airport. We ended up not doing any excursions due to travel time to get to places. All in all, a good resort just not at the caliber of a luxury resort. The only benefit we saw of staying at the Hideaway/Diamond Club side was easier access to the restaurants. Pools were better on the main resort side though.

I recently stayed at the Royalton Saint Lucia, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The biggest issue was the lack of care from the staff. It felt like we had to beg for even the most basic services—getting water, clean towels, or even simple assistance took multiple requests, if we were acknowledged at all. The service was shockingly inconsistent, and despite the resort’s beautiful setting, the staff’s indifference made it hard to enjoy the stay. For a resort of this caliber, I expected much better service and hospitality. I wouldn’t return or recommend it unless they make serious improvements.

Very nice landscaping. Very poor condition in poolside bathrooms. All the doorknobs were falling off, I got locked in twice. The staff was either very nice, or very indifferent, with rolling eyes. Air conditioning in room is on censor with balcony doors. You have to open and close 3 times to get a closed censor. Front desk should explain this when you complain about air conditioning. Getting reservations are a joke, the staff can't handle full capacity so they only book half and say its full.We only ate at 3 of the 8. Buffet was good, but got boring after a few days! Saying all that, our trip was as best as we could make of it. Weather , pool and beach were great! Poolside and beach staff were great!

The property was overall great. On my first night I was upgraded to a diamond club room because the resort overbooked and was told the upgrade was for two days but was told I had to leave the following day. This was highly inconvenient. Food was mid at best. I think my salad was the best thing I ate there. The island was beautiful.

It’s a nice property, albeit a bit outdated. However the staff and service were not up to par. The app didn’t work to book dinner reservations. Everything was booked up even tho there were empty tables. It took over an hour to get extra towels for the room and even longer when we tried to order room service. Every staff member was annoyed when we asked for a beverage or a water bottle. It took very long to get a drink at the martini bar given there were 4-6 ppl behind the bar at all times. They constantly ran out of cups and ingredients required to make the drink.

An amazing resort!!!

Royalton is an amazing resort. The hotel offers all the amenities that you can possibly ask for. The spa is fantastic, the 8 specialty restaurants live up to expectations, and the staff has been great. Our room was spacious, and comfortable. The only thing that I'm a little disappointed on was the buffet selection. Food was delicious, but just don't have a lot of varieties. It seems like we have the same food every night. The fruit selection was also not the greatest, maybe it's just the time of year. Overall though, I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to everyone.
