"Do not stay at this property. Due to a computer error, I was never properly checked in. When I returned after a full day of work, I discovered that hotel staff had entered my room, removed my belongings, and locked me out. I was then charged for a night I did not stay at the hotel. Because there were no available rooms to correct the situation, I was forced to find another hotel at additional expense and inconvenience. What is even more troubling is how both the hotel and Hyatt handled the situation afterward. Hyatt Corporate specifically instructed me not to return to the hotel and assured me they would resolve the issue directly. I was told I would receive a response within 24–48 hours. It has now been 12 days. I have called Hyatt seven times, and each time I was told that someone would contact me. No one has called. No one has followed up. No one has taken responsibility. Kareem, the manager who checked me in and spoke with me the morning of the incident, never contacted me to apologize or attempt to resolve the matter. The lack of customer service, accountability, communication, and concern for guests is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Hyatt Place Ridgeland. If something goes wrong during your stay, don't expect prompt assistance from either hotel management or corporate customer care. Stay elsewhere."
