"We had a nice 8 night stay. Everything was thoughtfully laid out in each room - books, nightlights, fans, decorations, board games. A lot of the furniture and kitchen decorations were antique and felt like you were at the cottage. We played 80’s board games in the morning, drove to the lake during the day and had campfires with s’mores in the evening. We also went for walks after dinner as a family along the back roads and were able to see the nice scenery with very little traffic. The property was well kept outside with gardening that attracted the hummingbirds to the flowers. It was very nice sitting outside enjoying the quiet away from the city. The host was very attentive to our needs, however you still felt like you had privacy even though they lived on the second floor. We enjoyed our stay at the “supply cottage” - which was what our daughter called it since we unable to stay at our own cottage this year."
