Hotel de la Mer was clean and the staff friendly and helpful but the bed was very uncomfortable and the bathroom although clean was not well maintained. The pool area was not inviting and a bit overcrowded with furniture.

Fantastic stay!

We had a fantastic stay! The owner is very friendly and ensures guests have a great stay. The free on-site parking is super convenient given the fact that it would be impossible to find a parking spot in the area if the hotel did not have its own parking lot. The pool area is really nice. It’s a friendly environment. We’ve made tons of friends. The hotel is super close to the beach. 5 min walk to le vieux rocher beach: the most beautiful and fun beach restaurant in the area. Juan les pins is a bit too crowded so we stayed at the vieux rocher beach the whole time. The only minus is that there’s no elevator in the hotel. But it’s a two stories building with short steps. We will definitely go back!

Photo mensongĂšres Ă  sur les sites, Ă  l’arrivĂ©e la chambre ne ressemblait pas du tout ni Ă  la description ni aux photos. Pas de balcon malgrĂ© le fait qu’il Ă©tait prĂ©sent dans la description. Parking minuscule (6 places max) et le soir en rentrant faut se garer en deuxiĂšme file et deposer les clĂ©s Ă  la rĂ©ception (pour qu’il puisse changer de place si ca gene) et ne pas pouvoir les rĂ©cupĂ©rer jusqu’à l’ouverture de ma rĂ©ception le lendemain. Si vous dĂ©posez pas les clĂ©s on vous appelle le matin tot, tres tot pour bouger le vĂ©hicule. Piscine minuscule aussi, entourĂ©e par quelques transat qui sont occupĂ©s Ă  partir de 7h du matin par des serviettes. La deco laisse dĂ©sirer,super ancienne, cupe, et plein de meubles cassĂ©s, mur rempli de tache d’humiditĂ©. Le rĂ©ceptionniste enchaĂźne sans arrĂȘt des blagues pas drĂŽles du tout Ă  toute question qu’on lui pose. Cet hotel ne merite absolument pas 1000€ pour 6 nuit!!

HĂŽtel correct mais ne vaux pas 3 Ă©toiles ! On sort d’un 2 Ă©toiles qui Ă©tait supĂ©rieur en service DĂ©jĂ  on entend les personnes des chambres de Ă  coter parler, mais surtout il n’y a personne Ă  l’accueil Ă  partir de 23 h. Parking nettement trop petit les personnes se gare en double file donc on est bloquer et on peu pas sortir j’en parle Ă  la personne de la rĂ©ception en demandant comment faire si on veut sortir il ose me rĂ©pondre Uber! Je trouve cela scandaleux !

Oliver the owner was very friendly and was eager to please, room was very warm when I arrived and took all night to cool down once air conditioning was switched on, breakfast room was very warm in the morning, shower did not work very well kept going from hot to cold and was very weak flow, didn’t change my towels once during my 3 day stay and not a lot to do in the immediate area. However it was a three star hotel so can’t expect too much reasonable value for money at the hotel. But only Oliver attempted to speak English.
