Charming and lovely country house
I have rarely been so charmed by a vacation rental. Marie-Claire's house dates to 1614, stone walls, rustic ceiling beams, spacious rooms, and a peaceful and large outdoor space complete with climbing roses. Marie-Claire was a gracious and attentive host. As a base for visiting the chateaux of the Loire Valley and the many beautifu towns in the area, we couldn't have enjoyed any accommodation more. Being able to end each day with dining and sipping wine in the peaceful, picturesque garden was such a bonus. Lots of room for all of us.

Perfect getway in a village near Loire river
Our 3-day vacation was perfect, the house is beautiful (made of stone >300 year ago and very authentic), has a privat yard and graden with a playground for children, barbeque pot was provided. Marie-Claire is very kind and pleasant host, she meet us at the arrival and explained and showed us everything on the property. The house is very spaceful, three rooms upstrairs and a kitchedn a separate living room at the ground floor. Bath and toilet are very clean and modern. Kitchen has everything we needed. The barn in the yard has a ping-pong table with lights and 3 bikes to explore the vicinities. We enjoy our stay very close to nature in this house. The old town of Blois is 10 min drive away, and the famouse Loire castles are also very close (10-30 min drive in different directions). Thank you Marie-Claire. We will come back if will be in France in future years!

Fabulous stay in Loire!!
We truly enjoyed our stay. It was a relaxing, and much needed, break after several days in the hustle and bustle of Paris. The home is truly charming and quite cozy. We all enjoyed bike rides, ping-pong and excursions to nearby chateaux.
Considerations-The wi-fi works best on the main room and doesn't have a strong signal elsewhere in the home. This isn't really surprising since the house is stone, but something to keep in mind. Also, the beds were quite firm.
All-in-all, this was a truly fabulous place to stay and our favorite thus far. Thank you!

Nous sommes venus pour fêter un anniversaire entourés des enfants et petits enfants.Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ce gite charmant et avons passé de bons moments devant la cheminée en ce mois de Novembre .Sur les conseils de Marie Claire nous sommes allés chez le charcutier de Candé sur Beuvron et la boulangerie de Chailles pour l'élaboration de notre repas d’anniversaire et en sommes très satisfaits et le gite est très bien approprié pour ce genre d'évenenement.

Le gîte est un très beau bâtiment ancien avec beaucoup de cachet, il est bien équipé, mais il mériterait un bon rafraîchissement et la propreté laisse à désirer.
Compte tenu du prix, nous nous attendions à mieux !

séjour en famille
maison très agréable et spacieuse pour une famille de 4 enfants. grand jardin pour le chien. Nous avons passé un très bon sejour. Tout était prévu avec tous les equipements pour bebe. Lieu très bien situé, à proximité des châteaux. super hôte et très bien accueillis par Marie Claire. on recommande.
