Pros: very clean, very nice staff, cheap price, nice bar/restaurant on the property with great views and good food. Cons: 20 min walk to get to Centro (we knew that but the cab fares started adding up), we had a room facing the road... horribly loud, there was some type of wood louvered window that only secured by turning another piece of wood across it.. it was “unlocked” when we first got there and had we not noticed could have allowed someone to at least reach in and grab anything off the table, bed was very firm, pillows were very thin. Our last night at 1:44am we were awoken to someone unlocking our door with a key. When the door opened we yelled at the male who responded with “oh sorry”,pulled out the key (on a ring of keys), slammed the door, and ran into the hotel. I contacted the hotel via FB messenger and was advised by this person that “a guest” had reported to him that they mistakenly entered our room because they were too drunk to remember where their room was. The hotel only had 6 or so rooms. Too drunk to find their room but able to have a conversation with the manager the next morning... AND WHY DID THEY HAVE A KEY FOR OUR LOCK?!?!? Mgr claims we left the room unlocked. BS... I check and double check things that... call it an occupational bias. Only reason for not giving this property a 1 Star is hopefully this is one bad employee and the owner can correct this problem, otherwise a nice property.
