The service and the room was good, the food was okay but from my room you could hear all the hallway noise and next door rooms too! The checkin was quick but from there they send you off to someone else to give you hotel information and then tries to get you to sign up for a sales meeting if 90 minutes for discounted adventure tickets. The meeting starts off with a breakfast conversation where they try to get to know your vacation habits and get you to open up and start feeling comfortable. The meeting is not 60 minutes, it’s more like 3-4 hours!! As they start telling you little by little and then start talking about pricing 3 hours later. There is no official pricing brochure only a sales shark giving you different numbers and deals every time there is an excuse! Luckily I didn’t didn’t sign up but my mother was very close. After reading the reviews I am very glad I pulled my mother out of the meeting as she was being brainwashed/ scammed. Do not accept the meeting, they will promise giveaways, big discounts and make it sound so easy but your better off paying a bit more than attending the sales meeting.

Check-In Quick process (about 15 min) in a spacious lobby with seating. No welcome drink offered. We inquired about reserving a Bali bed ($400 p/d), and that it would be best to upgrade to The Royal for $500 extra for our full stay. Isaias was polite, but our room keys didn’t work, so we had to return to the front desk. Membership Sales Avoid the timeshare tour! They promise 90 minutes, but we were stuck for nearly 2.5 hours and passed through 7 different people. After repeatedly saying no, we had to walk out. Pushy and unprofessional—do yourself a favor and skip it. Butler Service Jessica was amazing! Although we weren’t contacted on time, once we met her, she provided 5-star service—great communication via WhatsApp, handled all our dinner reservations, and reserved our Bali bed daily. She truly elevated our experience. Restaurants • La Veranda: Great buffet, Fermin on the grill was fantastic. • Flor de Sal: Friendly staff, but food took 30+ mins. Great cappuccinos. • Koi: Fun hibachi experience, food was okay but not hot. • Café Solé: Great spot for ice cream, pastries, and light bites. Adult Pool Bar Belmai, Fanny, and Santiago gave us exceptional service by the premier pool. Very attentive and friendly! Beach Seaweed was heavy in July—beach closed 4 out of 5 days. Absolutely Amazing Stay at Grand Park Royal Cancun! From the moment we arrived at Grand Park Royal Cancun, we were blown away by the beauty of the resort and the warmth of the staff. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, with everyone going out of their way to make us feel comfortable and special. The room was spotless, modern, and had an absolutely breathtaking ocean view. Waking up to the sound of the waves and watching the sunrise from our balcony was unforgettable. The food was good. My Butler Yajahira treated me like a queen. she was truly the best. Every meal felt like a treat, and the staff made sure we always had what we needed. The pools were clean and well-maintained, with plenty of loungers and great service at the swim-up bar. The beach area was just as perfect—powdery white sand and crystal-clear water. We also loved the nightly entertainment and activities throughout the day. What truly made the experience exceptional was the service. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. They went above and beyond to ensure we were happy at every turn. We will absolutely be returning and highly recommend Grand Park Royal to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing vacation in Cancun. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

I stayed at Grand Park Royal Cancún, and while the hotel itself seems nice, I had a terrible and misleading experience with Royal Holiday, whose sales team operates inside the hotel with the full support of management. I was sold a “trial vacation package” by [insert names of salespeople, Samara and Alfonso under the promise that I could “try the membership benefits” before committing to a full contract. They made it sound exclusive and risk-free, claiming I’d receive access to discounted luxury resorts, booking flexibility, special deals, and member-only privileges. ➡️ All of that was false. The “trial” included zero real benefits — no discounted rates, no better booking options, and no added value at all. Then, when you actually try to book a trip using the trial, you find out that: • You still have to pay separately for the all-inclusive plan, which adds hundreds of dollars per stay, • And the final price ends up being the same or even more than booking directly on Expedia or any public travel site, often at better-rated hotels. They rush you through the presentation, use high-pressure tactics, and don’t give you clear written terms. The staff wear hotel uniforms and work from offices inside the resort — so this isn’t just on Royal Holiday. The Grand Park Royal Cancún is enabling these shady practices on their property. This is not a legitimate “trial.” It’s a trap to get money from unsuspecting tourists who think they’re getting a deal. Avoid the sales team

Hotel is nice. Dinner isn’t served until 7 so plan accordingly.property is clean. There are amenities that children are not allowed, including a restaurant. So you are more limited if traveling with children. There isn’t a lot to do other than sit at the pool or beach on the property. Have stayed at hotels that have more interaction at the pool which was nice. They didn’t have a lot of interaction for adults. More games for kids. Overall nice hotel.
