We rented a Lake View room. This is misleading. The room had a partial lake view at best. A large meeting center building is located in the parking lot. Between the room and the lake. Most of the view, from the second floor, is of this structure. No one should be charged a full lake view price for this room.

We had stayed here last year and had a good experience, but after this trip will not be back. It was an unusually warm weekend for February and when we checked in our room temp was 80 degrees. It did not cool down despite setting the temp on the thermostat as low as it could go. The next day we brought this up with the front desk and they sent a maintenance person to look into it. He was very kind and said everything seemed to be working as expected and to leave the fan on to cool the room down. Unfortunately the second night was the same thing. A could hours after closing the door and leaving the fan on it was back up to 78 degrees. When we checked out and brought this up to the front desk the explanation was that this is just how the system works and that if we wanted the room cooler we should have left the door open all night. This is not a realistic solution for a room overlooking the highway. As an added bonus everything we put in the fridge froze solid overnight. After 2 nights of no sleep we’re happy to be leaving Hotel Azire behind.

Everything was great except the vents smelled very weird for brief periods of time. Kinda smelled like someone had broken into our room and used our toilet. Other than that great staff, great location, and very comfortable beds.

Loved the property. Room was clean and well kept. The areas was easily accessible to many activities and dining options without the hassle of too much traffic and crowd. Waking up every morning to the view of the lake was one of the highlights of our trip.

ATTENTION PET OWNERS

Do they allow pets? Sure. But what they don’t tell you until you get there is you cannot leave them unattended. So if you have a romantic dinner planned or hitting the slopes, make sure you take your animals. Ridiculous. Also the hotel sits on a busy road so it can be loud, especially the lake view room.
