Pretty hotel. Staff was very courteous and helpful and desk and in restaurant where we ate a lot. Dinner was always good. . Good breakfast buffet. There was a perfume scent that was ever present in dining area and lobby that was unpleasant and as we know now very unhealthy. Housekeeping was spotty. Seems like something was missing everyday and things could be cleaner. I would get back late afternoon and room still wasn’t cleaned.

Yes good, the overnight parking at hotel is quite costly but very secure. Check in is late 4pm but staff did phone us to say the room was ready earlier than that which was good. Breakfast okay - my wife could not eat the fried egg as had been standing a while but otherwise all good - coming back at night we were told not to walk across the park. Room was nice.

As soon as we arrived at reception, there was no information provided about the hotel amenities, including opening and closing times for the swimming pool. There was very little customer service overall—just pressure to book breakfast at an additional cost, and to pay extra for parking. We had a lot of luggage, yet the front desk staff simply handed us a trolley and expected us to load and take our bags to the room ourselves. This is something I would normally expect hotel staff to assist with, especially when paying to stay at the property. Breakfast was a complete waste of time, with food served cold. Parking was also poorly managed—despite paying for hotel parking, there were no spaces available and we had to park on a side road. The staff were rude and unpleasant throughout our stay. I would not recommend this hotel. Although the price was cheap, it’s clear why—the customer service was appalling.

Very nice modern hotel. Nicely decorated. Hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the historic city centre in a quiet residential area. Has restaurant, bar and a good cafe. Room was very nice Good size, loads of storage space, very good overhead shower. Good size fridge. Leisure facilities include a long but narrow swimming pool with spa jets along one side, steam room and sauna (currently being refurbished so not in use). Very good breakfast buffet plus you can order hot dishes such as fresh porridge and egg dishes. Staff very friendly and helpful. Altogether a nice spot to stay.
