Beachfront Home with Sound View on Camano Island

Welcome to your waterfront paradise, situated in beautiful Port Susan Bay of Puget Sound, on the incomparable Camano Island. Our island's motto is "Come out of your shell on Camano", and we invite you to do exactly that! Adventure, relaxation, wildlife observation and more await you in this very special place. You don't even have to take a ferry, just drive right on. We warmly invite our guests to venture over and experience all this wonderfully welcoming island has to offer!

Our 2,100 sq ft home sits directly on the shoreline, with waterfront views from every room. Relax your cares away in well separated bedrooms with luxurious down pillows, comforters and linens. Each bedroom features its own private ensuite bathroom, and two bedrooms offer their own balconies. You will enjoy a fully equipped kitchen and complimentary eco-friendly supplies throughout. All you need is a change of clothes and whatever sounds good to eat! If you don't feel like cooking, there are several local dining options and a grocery store nearby as well.

Relax on the waterfront patio to immerse yourself in the surroundings, with views of the Cascades and Mt. Pilchuck in the distance. Observe native wildlife in action...bald eagles soaring, fish swimming and seals bobbing along, to name a few. If you are fortunate in your timing, you may even see whales magnificently spouting as they cruise through the bay! At high-tide, the water will come right up to the patio's edge, giving the feeling of a portside nautical adventure. When the tide is out, enjoy exploring the beach with its countless rocks, shells, driftwood and sea life. Kids will surely have fun with the provided beach toys as well. Our winter guests will enjoy storm watching through the floor-to-ceiling windows of the sun room, accompanied by the cozy ambience of a wood-burning stove.

Seeking adventure? Grab one of the provided kayaks and paddle along the shoreline while viewing sea creatures down below. Hop on a bicycle and cruise the flat, paved community road alongside the beach. Wonderful for leisure walks too! Cast a line out front and reel in a fresh fish. (Poles and license required.) Those who embrace simpler pleasures will drift into peaceful serenity, surrounded by the thoughtful comforts and full amenities of the home. Enjoy quiet moments tucked away with a good book. Gather round the dining table for an afternoon puzzle or laugh-out-loud evening of board games. Rest at night, lulled to sleep by the soothing waves and changing tides. Our beach house is accommodating to kids, senior-citizens and everyone in between! Enjoy a family vacation, friends getaway, special occasion or business retreat. Before accepting reservations, I find it beneficial to have a quick chat. This is simply to help ensure our place will be a perfect accommodation for your group. We sincerely care about your experience, and want to provide you the opportunity to ask questions and/or acquire more detail, to best inform your decision. *All guests must be accounted for prior to arrival; unplanned guests are not allowed.

*Remote workspace can be set up wherever desired in the home (office chair, 34" square portable folding table, laptop stand, printer and surge protector provided).

*Kayaking advised during times of calm water ONLY. Waves, winds and shifting tides can be difficult to navigate and can be unsafe. Staying close to the shore, inside buoy line is advised and always the safest way to enjoy kayaking. Life jackets provided and must be worn at all times.

*Complimentary firewood provided. Extreme caution and fire safety practices required when using interior woodstove and outdoor firepit.

*Floors on main level comprised of aggregate concrete and hard tile, caution advised.

*Power outages occur occasionally, most often in autumn & winter. Generator available, contact us for usage and safety info.

*Off-leash dogs are sometimes present in the community.

*The community is accessed via a steep hill. Ice/snow is infrequent in the winter, though occurs occasionally, please use caution accordingly.

*By booking a reservation, I agree to save and hold harmless Beach Mode on Tyee LLC, the property and its owners from any and all injury, accidents, illness, loss (including personal belongings), liability, damage, or cost that I, or others in my party may incur due to our occupancy on your premises. The property is located waterfront/beachfront; all guests are responsible for their own safety and should therefore act accordingly. Guest and all members of Rental Party are expressly assuming the full risk of any and all harm arising from their use of the premises, or others whom they allow to use the premises.
