Our stay at Angela and Simone’s home was truly unforgettable and one of the most special travel experiences we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us with so much kindness and warmth and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Their hospitality alone would be enough reason to return, but the home itself made the experience even more incredible.This was easily the most thoughtfully decorated and beautiful place we have ever stayed. Every detail felt intentional while still being warm, cozy, and inviting. The gardens and grounds were absolutely stunning and created such a peaceful atmosphere throughout our stay.One of the highlights was the incredible breakfast they prepared for us. The pancakes were the most beautifully decorated pancakes we have ever seen and such a thoughtful touch. They also went above and beyond to celebrate my birthday while we were there, which made the trip feel even more special and meaningful.Traveling with a young baby can sometimes feel stressful, but their home felt so peaceful and welcoming for our family. We left feeling incredibly grateful not only for the beautiful property, but for the genuine kindness and care Angela and Simone showed us during our stay. We truly cannot wait to return someday.

Before we ever arrived, it was obvious that Simone and Angela's standards originate from a high bar - a very high bar. It was truly an accumulation of the little things that made this a trip of a ;lifetime. From local dining recommendations to trnasportation options, from freshly prepared meals, to thoughtfully stocking our apartment with a welcome basket, the level of service was unparalelled. The best part? Simone and Angela do not consider this as "work"- rather the entire property, the entire experience, radiates their passion, heart and soul. Simone and Angela were incredible hosts—you truly won’t find better. They alone are reason enough to book this property. From the moment we arrived, they were warm, welcoming, and consistently attentive to any questions or needs, while also offering thoughtful, local recommendations that made our trip even better.The villa grounds are absolutely gorgeous and exactly as advertised. They offer ample areas for relaxation and are beautifully surrounded by mountains. It was a bit cool for the pool during our stay, but it was stunning, and we can only imagine how amazing it is in the warmer months.The location is ideal for exploring multiple Tuscan towns and even making a trip to the beautiful Cinque Terre.One of the highlights of our stay was the cooking class—it was fun, informative, and resulted in an amazing meal. Just Fabulous! It is difficult to put into words how wonderful this couple is and what they have created! Angela and Simone are the kindest most beautiful souls. The love they have for their home and project is second only possibly to the love and passion they have for life and the magic of Food! Once again it is difficult to put this into words. That being said we just returned from three weeks in Italy and we discovered, laughed and ate our way around this country and we did it well! The food in Italy is truly amazing, and I can say that without a shadow of doubt that the best food we had the entire time we were in this lovely country came out of Angelas Kitchen! This is no easy win. We had some incredible food experiences but Angela and Simone are hands down the absolute best. In our little group of late 40 year old adventurers, the discussions and consensus was that it was the best dinner anyone in our group had ever had..in life..period. (we live in Canadian wine and foodie country) Ok ok enough about food.I got sidetracked there. It happens. The property and amenities in this villa are 5 star. They truly have created an Oasis.I could go on about this but will not as I feel you only will appreciate this and deserve the oasis and kindness of these hosts if you take the leap!If you are looking for the best basecamp in Tuscany to explore and adventure around with your partner, family or friends then you found it. We had such a wonderful stay! The place itself was absolutely beautiful—spotlessly clean, thoughtfully decorated, and even more charming than the photos. The pictures of the property and apartment speak for themselves. Angela and Simone keep this beautiful property meticulously maintained and very clean. They provided a great welcome package that included various kitchen staples (eggs/bread/OJ/fruit, etc...) which we put to good use. Center of town is a 12 minute walk from the apartment and day trips to Florence/Portofino/Cinque Terre are easy (about an hour away each). City of Lucca is 25 minutes away by car and a hidden gem of this region. Staying here at Casale Galeotti with Angela and Simone was a good decision. They were responsive hosts who enjoy the art of hospitality. My family loved staying here.

You can tell they genuinely care about every aspect of your stay, and it shows in the warmth of their hospitality.The food they prepared was simply incredible—honestly, one of the best meals we've had during our two-week tour of Italy. One of our party members had an urgent need for a prescription, and without hesitation, the host drove them to the doctor and even took them to the pharmacy to pick up the medication. Villa Corallo

Fabulous property with wonderful hosts. The villa is beautiful and the grounds are off the chart gorgeous! Hosts, Angela and Simone couldn't have been nicer, including preparing a last minute dinner for us on the day we arrived because the local restaurants were closed. We stayed for 6 nights and made day trips to Florence, Cinque Terre, Siena, Pisa and Lucca. Our only mistake was not staying an extra day to chill and enjoy the gardens and pool. Highly recommend and will absolutely stay here again when back in the area. Thank you Angela and Simone for providing such a beautiful place for our home base while visiting Tuscany. We arrived as guests and left as friends.

An amazing family experience!!

Angela and Simone were exceptional hosts. Their property is absolutely stunning and extremely well kept and they went above and beyond to make sure the villa was spotless and pristine every day for us. We visited for a month between April and May with 2 kids under 3. The villa is a 15 min walk away from Camaiore town centre where you can buy local groceries, local restaurants, and there is a park for kids. The villa is also a very close drive to the beautiful beaches (Forti dei Marmi, Viareggio) and only a 1-2.5 hour drive to towns like Cinque Terre, Lucca, San Gimignano, Bologna, not to mention the beautiful mountain towns that are only a 10 min drive away. Coming home to the villa was always a breath of fresh air as it’s so gorgeous and there is a big yard for the kids to play ball / run around. Simone and Angela’s cooking is also delicious and we took advantage of the pizzeria very often. They treated us like family and made our vacation so perfect and memorable. Thank you both!!

Perfection in Tuscany with Angela & Simon

Our family recently stayed at an unforgettable villa in Camaiore, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, our hosts, Angela, Simon, and their daughter Florence, welcomed us with such warmth that we instantly felt at home. Angela’s attention to detail is incredible. Every inch of the villa—from the handpicked art to the carefully chosen trees and flowers—felt like a masterpiece. There were countless places to relax, whether by the pool, a water fountain, in the trees, or by the kitchen, each spot a perfect vignette for photo-taking. The meals they prepared were outstanding, served in a kitchen filled with hand-crafted ceramics and accompanied by the soothing sounds of Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, and Andrea Bocelli. It was like stepping inside Angela’s brilliant mind, where beauty and creativity surrounded us. Angela also planned all our day trips, ensuring we experienced the best of Tuscany. The villa, nestled in the hills, felt like paradise, and we would return in a heartbeat. Angela, Simon, and Florence have become like family to us, and we’ll cherish the memories of this trip forever.

Spectacular Villa and amazing service and food

We spent a week at the Villa with our best friends. Upon arrival Simone and Angela greeted us through their private entrance and gave us the grand tour of their Gardens, Pool, several seating areas and beautiful rooms with fruit and breads. They prepared fresh tapas of meats, cheeses, tomatoes and fruits with Perri Champagne served by the pool. The rest of the week they provided recommendations of towns to visit and we had several meals in the evening. They are wonderful hosts, chefs and it was such a memorable relaxing week that next time we will stay 2-weeks in Camiore with them. Each evening we were surprised with the dinner menu served by the beautiful gardens and definately a 5-star rating overall.

Don’t think about it, just book it

There are no words to describe how magical this villa truly is. The pictures DO NOT do it justice at all. It is more beautiful in person if you can imagine that. The hosts and chefs, Simone and Angela did everything to make our stay incredible. From the warmth in their hugs and the grace in their hospitality to the love in their food, they are nothing short of spectacular. The location is safe, quiet and about a 15 minute walk to beautiful local restaurants. If you don’t want to spend money on taxis and drivers, I would suggest renting a car. However, Simone and Angela were wonderful with getting us to and from the train station. We will be back!

Paradise in Camaiore

We just returned home from our first family vacation to Europe/Italy. We started our trip by staying in the Tuscany area (7/14-7/19), before venturing to Rome and the Amalfi Coast. Staying at this property in Camaiore was honestly like staying at a 5-star resort and having everything to ourselves. Angela and Simone are the ultimate hosts and chefs who greeted us like family from the moment we arrived and treated us that way until our departure. I really don’t know where to start. Before our arrival, Angela was extremely responsive and provided suggestions of things to do and see and offered to coordinate our reservations, for which they did for a wonderful winery and at a beach club in Forte de Marmi. A couple of the nights, we opted to stay at the property and have Angela and Simone cook for us while dining outdoors in their garden area - absolutely incredible! I would highly recommend staying here based on the amazing hospitality by two very humble and hard-working individuals, proximity to the coast, Florence, Pisa and Lucca which is what we were able to fit in during our few days there. My husband and I, as well as our kids ages 18 and 24 are still talking about how this was one of our favorite parts of our trip! We miss them and can't wait to return some day!

Great property

An excellent place to stay if you are looking for something that feels between a luxury B&B and a villa rental. Hosts are extremely attentive and helpful. Central location to be able to drive to beaches, towns etc. easily.

Dream Home with Stunning Gardens made our stay phenomenal and we are going back!

We stayed a week and are already making plans to return! The home owners are also amazing chefs that will offer you menu choices if you choose to dine at the villa. All of our meals we were the best on our whole time in Italy. Salads, seafood,pasta, cake, pizza, and more The owners Simone and Angela are the sweetest hosts you could ask for and help you in any way possible and also booked us transportation when we needed it and so much more. We came as guests and left as family. I feel blessed they opened their home and gardens for us. They provided me with a perfect place for my 60th birthday celebration. The gardens and flowers are spectacular and honestly unbelievable for a Vrbo experience. The property is very large and so many beautiful spaces to sit and enjoy. My husband loved the pool. The apartment is decorated so professionally and extremely comfortable. Their detail to EVERYTHING is so special you feel cared for. There is also so much to do in the area we rented a car and went to Florence for excursions which was nice to come back here instead of a busy city. We did not see all that the area offers so we are going back next year!

Hidden gem in Camaiore

My family and I had the recent good fortune to stumble across Casale Galeotti in the town of Camaiore, at the foot of the Apuan Mountains. Angela and Simone were the most gracious and kind hosts one could ever find in the world of hospitality. They have created an enchanted paradise that they allow their guests access to. From the gardens to the beautiful suites, the venue is outstanding for a vacation full of rest and relaxation. Its proximity to other locations is also ideal to make this a good home base for touring Tuscany. As the owners and other renters have shared, this venue is good to access by car. That said, we did not have a car and were able to easily walk into town and use drivers to get around more broadly. The venue was so amazing we spent more time with our feet up after long hours walking in Rome so less sightseeing was perfect. Although this venue is billed more like a Bed and Breakfast, Angela and Simone were such consumate hosts that they would coordinate anything you needed. They also offer amenities for additional charge like preparing full course meals (Angela’s amazing eggplant lasagna and Simone’s Pizza Margherita with ham), having your laundry cleaned and pressed or coordinating lavish massages in the garden. This is not an ordinary VRBO experience - Angela and Simone have done something special here and we were lucky enough to not only be a part of it but we also became great friends as a result! You must go and see for yourself!

A dream holiday

Our stay at Villa Corallo exceeded all expectations - the property itself was absolutely stunning and Angela and Simone went above and beyond to make our stay pleasurable and comfortable. We loved the privately cooked dinners outside, and our two little boys adored the hot tub, the space to explore and play in, and they had such a lovely relationship with Angela and Simone. They didn't want to leave! The location is wonderful with good local shops and restaurants, and easy access to the beach, mountains, and everything else that Tuscany has to offer. We will be rebooking for next year :)
