Good but could be better

The +: Very nice room (junior suite) with fantastic view. Lovely staff, nice pools and super location. The -: 1) Paid for four nights half board but first night the restaurants were closed. Got a very small plate with some salad leaves, onions, 2 thin slices of ham and potato salad and a had piece of bread. They had no other food. Reimbursed me 10 Euros on my bill with indication: did not like the food... Who would? 2) No background music all (nither in the bars nor in the restaurants, not even in the reception, very noisy main restaurant with terrible lights inside (bring your sun glasses even at night). Hotel in my view is totally understaffed.

The property is beautiful. Not the friendliest staff at the front desk or restaurants but the pool bartender was great. The rooms are okay with beautiful patios. Pools and exterior areas are awesome! NO AMEX which was disapointing.

4* View, experience a little more Ryanair

There’s no denying it, the location is amazing. If you get a room with a sea view, it’s beautiful. Our room was spacious and well presented. The balcony was large and had a fantastic view out over the sea. The beds were comfortable and the room clean. Overall staff were good, some were excellent, others not so much. The hotel seemed understaffed for August which was a shame as this took away from the hospitality one would expect. Breakfast was ok, but not worth paying extra for if you have a car. I suggest having it once for the view. It lacked organisation which frustrated guests first thing in the morning when they were trying to find a table; which was unpleasant. Views from the breakfast area were great. Despite being a 4* hotel the experience felt somewhat more Ryanair. Everything was extra, despite the relatively high prices for the rooms. This took away the luxury feeling. Factor parking into your budget at €15/day, don’t park in the car park up the road unless you want to risk damaging your car. Beware the Nespresso pods in the room, these aren’t a nice comfort, they will charge you extra if you use them (the milk too). Some staff lacked the hospitable nature one would expect in a 4* hotel. The view is great here, but hospitality, comfort and luxury were lacking and left us disappointed. We stayed for 6 nights. Two nights would have been sufficient.

This is such a wonderful property. This is my second visit, and actually this trip I have also extended by one week. I love the neighbourhood, the beautiful pools, and also the beach at the bottom of the driveway of the hotel. Such an easy holiday with beautiful views amongst nature in the sun.

Had a wonderful holiday! The adult pool area is really nice and relaxing. My favourite was the Bali sun launches. Had a room with a side sea view, was slightly dated but didn’t mind as the view was lovely over the pool and sea. There are nicer rooms available at the hotel but I didn’t mind. Food choice wasn’t huge but they had everything what was needed and it’s tasted really good. Staff very friendly. Location nice overlooking the sea. If going for breakfast only there are other restaurants to eat for dinner. No supermarket near by though if you have no car. Over all very nice and super relaxing holiday!

Gorgeous views!

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The location is gorgeous, Beautiful views, scenic hiking trails right by the hotel and a waterfront with coves. The hotel is very clean. We booked half board to include breakfast and dinner, we were VERY impressed with the food quality, variety and everything we had was delicious.

Location was excellent! Food was okay but other restaurants were walking distance. Staff are very friendly. AC unit didn’t keep the room cool probably because the vent system needed to be clean. Very filthy. Bathrooms are outdated in the standard room.

The gym (if you could even call it that) consisted of 3 cardio machines, 4 very ordinary push/pull machines and dumbbells from 1kg - 10kg! An absolute joke for anyone who actually likes to train, plus the gym is a part of the spa centre so access is through here which isn’t a problem except for the fact that the gym is only open during those times 9am - 7pm which again is disgraceful! There should be a separate entrance for the gym!! Location was amazing though and our corner balcony suite was fantastic! Breakfast and Dinner were also very good!

Nice hotel but service not 4*

requested quiet high floor, arrived to ground floor or looked by the whole hotel meaning no private sunbathing meaning paying for room with balcony almost pointless, when discussed with staff one member rude and unhelpful when they did try to change it was for a lesser room with no refund offered. to top this off i wanted to have my granddaughter stay one night to give my son a night off (our room had 3 beds) and was told there would be a £70 charge if she stayed she is 7! shame about hotel rules and some staff other than that nice grounds and location /i will not be returng

Nice but noisy

Hotel location was beautiful. We upgraded to adult pool suite. Pools are not heated which is unfortunate as we would have loved to have enjoyed the pools. Also, for a luxury hotel they could put little touches in the rooms like tissues, Q-tips, bottled water, etc. The hotel is very noisy. We did not sleep well at all. The room above ours was extremely noisy. We complained several times. You can hear people walking all hours of the night above you and moving furniture as there is not carpet in hotel. Only tile floors. Doors slam at all hours of the day and and night. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Spa area is nice.

Great location, but not very modern rooms

We arrived in the night, and didn't realise how fabulous the location is until only in the morning at breakfast. The were here for one night during Easter break in 2018, and unfortunately the weather wasn't great, because this hotel is definitely made for warmer weather. Our room was quite cold, and the we couldn't have a shower in the evening as the water was not heated during the night it seemed. Cold shower, not cool. We spent the morning in the spa because the stunning pool area was not at its best due to the chilly and windy weather. The spa is great, but the water in the spa was also cold for some reason. That was a HUGE disappointment after freezing in the hotel room first. The only warm thing was the sauna and the jacuzzi that everyone wanted to get into, and only 2 people fit there. The hotel is at an amazing location, and very beautiful, but the rooms look like they are updated a bit from the 70s. The toilets are very old, and you can hear everything from the corridor to the room. It felt like people were standing in our room talking while they were in the corridor.

Nice hotel - terrible reception lady!

Good hotel, bad service. Our stay got off to a weird start - we got to the hotel, checked in and were told our room was (let's say) number 101. We took our key, went to the room, opened the door another guest was in the room!! The lady at reception had given us access to someone else's room and instead of apologising to us and the occupant, just laughed it off and made us wait for ages to get a key to our actual room!! The lady's English wasn't very good and got obviously irritated at us asking for clean towels (housekeeping took the dirty ones and didn't replace them!) and then following up with her an HOUR later because they hadn't arrived. Overall, we were deeply unsatisfied with the lack of professionalism of the lady at reception. Other than that, the spa was very nice, the pools too and the coffee and sandwiches we had at the poolside were good too. The guy that works in the spa was also very polite and accommodating!
