I booked a night at the hotel for my husband's birthday. I planned for us to use the pool and hot tub but they didn't notify us that it would be closed until the free cancellation expired. It was difficult to park and check in, we had to drive around the block and ended up in a dead end area around the building. Our room smelled so bad, like sewage, and unfortunately we didn't have time to switch rooms since we were rushing to get to a concert. The room also wasn't in the best condition - there was a broken off handle in the bathroom. For the price, I don't think I would stay here again.

Parking was a bit of a gong show since there is no lobby pull up to check in. Then I found out later that I could have got a better rate than across the way (downtown paid parking lot). So paid more than I should have. Beers were also $16/bottle so bring your own lol. But the staff and the rooms were amazing. No issues what so ever. Very hospitable and friendly. Coffee is great too (breakfast). Will return (with my own beer though ;) )

Had an excellent time at Homewood suites Calgary Downtown, great breakfast each day and a nice sizeable pool. Also a whirlpool hottub. Our room was huge and had everything we needed.. many restaurants and grocery stores near by. The downtown core is a quick walk from this hotel as well as many other sights and locations. Will definitely be booking again!!!
