"Cabin was clean and spacious. I had 6 teenage boys with me and we were comfortable. I used the loft and had some privacy. We explored the area by swimming at beaches, fishing, and rented a boat on Lake MacBride. I’d definitely go back. "

"Start with the good stuff:The stay was fabulous! The cabin was great. Checkin was super easy. Staff was friendly and helpful when we called for games. Wifi wasn't great but we could use our phones. However the not great wifi was shared prior to our visit and wasnt a necessity anyway. The cabin was clean. Pool was the winner! It was super close to the Chalet and perfect water temperature! The view from the chalet porch was wonderful. We enjoyed watching the groundhogs and lovingly named them Bobbie and Millie. Lol!Not great stuff(but not awful):The dining room table and chairs are super uncomfortable. The chairs are high and dont match the table so there is no place to really put your feet if youre a shorter person.There are no luggage racks or dressers/shelves to put clothes.The couch is seriously outdated and has lost color. Any comfort it had is gone.There were a great number of spiders in the cabin.There was only 1 towel in the kitchen so doing dishes and wiping things down properly was a no go.Overall we had a nice time. Our dog loved the place as well! Would stay again if we were in the area."

"This is our second year coming to this location. We really enjoyed these cabins compared to the larger cabins because we all were in one area and was easier to communicate and reconnect. Went when it was extremely hot and had a heat advisory, but the AC worked fine and had the pool pretty much to ourselves. Have no issue ever with these locations."

"My son and I stayed in the 2 bedroom cabin. It was clean and nice. We were lucky to have the whole resort to ourselves, besides some road workers who came after their shift was done. We had the heated salt water pool to ourselves and it was incredible. So relaxing. Their shower and changing rooms were meticulously clean and I hope people renting cabins and using this resort help to keep it clean and tidy. There are a lot of gnats here so bring something to keep them at bay if your sitting outdoors. There are Casey's a few miles down the road, but youll have to drive a half hour to Muscatine, or an hour to Davenport or Coralville, for restaurants. "
