Whilst the room and amenities were satisfactory, the cleanliness of the apartment was very poor and disappointing. It was evident the toilets had not been cleaned in a long time - there was pink mould and black mould in the bowls, and the sinks were the same, with mould around the drain and overflow hole in the sink. Our feet started peeling after a few days of showering in the showers and we resorted to wearing our flip-flops (thongs) in the shower. The dishes and cutlery in the kitchen also were not clean. Half the items we went to use were dirty and we washed everything before using it, as a result. On taking a knife out of the knife block, there were chunks of food stuck on the blade. It was actually very disappointing to slowly become aware, over the course of our 5 night stay, that this apartment really had not been given any attention in cleaning it. The floors appeared clean and on face value, the benches in the kitchen & bathroom did too. However, face value is not what matters when staying somewhere, of course. The amenities were good. There was a Nespresso coffee pod machine and milk frother, and the kitchen amenities overall were nice (cleanliness aside). There are a couple of smart TVs good for Netflix, projecting from your phone and playing music too. The balcony provided a great place to chill and the upstairs living area was very nice overall (cleanliness aside). Parking was easy and the location of the resort is good. There are no lifts and lots of stairs.
