Cabaña del país en el jardín amurallado del histórico West Stow Salón

Casa del jardinero es una construcción tradicional, de piedra y ladrillo, casa dentro del antiguo jardín amurallado de la histórica West Stow Hall. Para la parte delantera es un agradable, orientación sur jardín ideal para muebles BBQs- Jardín suministrado. En la parte trasera hay campos con caballos y potros. Es un grande, recientemente fechada casa llena de luz y totalmente tranquila, ideal para familias o para aquellos que buscan un refugio en el campo. Las habitaciones son de todos de un buen tamaño y bien amuebladas; buena ropa de cama de calidad, se incluyen toallas, etc. Además de contar con todos los elementos esenciales para la vida moderna de la cocina también tiene un combustible sólido Rayburn. Encantadora en días fríos y es genial para cocinar guisos y calentar sus pies! El comedor / sala de estar es muy agradable con bonitas puertas francesas que dan al jardín. Hay una TV sáb libre, DVD y Wi-Fi, así como una estufa de leña acogedor y un montón de libros y juegos para las noches tranquilas en! Mientras Bosque del Rey, ideal para jinetes, ciclistas y excursionistas está a cinco minutos a pie. Hay varios excelentes campos de golf dentro de un corto trayecto en coche, y la pesca Larkwood es en la parte inferior de la unidad! El reconocido anglosajona Village se encuentra a 20 minutos a pie y varios fascinantes propiedades National Trust están a poca distancia. A wonderfully old-school, dog-friendly, comforting home from home, offering incredible peace and quiet. Comfy firm beds and soft pillows, a little hall for boots, coats and dog paraphernalia, a cosy farmhouse kitchen that can be closed off to keep dogs from the sitting room, every form of coffee-making equipment offered, large fridge (with welcome bottle of milk) and separate freezer, lots of hot water (it takes a few minutes to come through!), efficient heating (though bedrooms were hard to heat in the dead of winter during our visit but that makes for a good night's sleep), good wifi and TV with all the streaming channels available to log into, and a super-efficient wood burner, along with board games in the snug area. Wouldn't change a thing!

House was spotless, location is beautiful! Have stayed here before and will stay again. Hosts were on hand if needed but left us to our own devices. Lots of lovely walks in the woods nearby with our dog-she loved it. Highly recommend a stay here

Beautiful cottage

West Stow is close to the Kings forest which is great if you have dogs or great if you don’t. The cottage was perfect and wildlife is all around. The horse in the field whilst washing dishes, the munkjac deer crossing the field and all kinds of birds made the trip memorable. A lovely place for a restful stay but with plenty of fun trips on the doorstep.

Perfekter Aufenthalt im Osten Englands

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut ausgestattet, es hat für uns an nichts gefehlt. Selbst einige Spiele usw. für Kinder sind vorhanden. Wir haben von hier aus diverse Ausflüge in die nahe und weitere Umgebung unternommen, die Lage ist ausgezeichnet dafür. Ein großer Supermarkt ist in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Der Garten und die Umgebung sind wunderschön.

Quaint and Cozy in West Suffolk

The cottage was everything I would expect in a historical English cottage with vibrant walled gardens and cozy accommodations. (The living room furniture could have been more comfortable). It was a perfect location to visit the many small towns, parks, cathedrals and castles. Our hostess, Eileen was very accommodating and even gave us a tour of the old (originally built in 1530) West Stow Hall. I would definitely stay again. I even got to get her raspberries and rhubarb from the garden and put cut flowers in the cottage!

Beautiful house in lovely private garden

The house is spacious, very well equipped and with a lovely country-house style decor. Fabulous setting in the grounds of a beautiful Elizabethan manor house. The cottage has its own enclosed and spacious garden. A very special experience. We really loved it.

Cute cottage

If you are looking to stay in a quintessential Suffolk cottage in a very quiet country setting, this will take some beating. It was bitterly cold during our stay and it was fairly difficult to keep warm in the cottage. Staying during a warmer month of the year would have made our time more comfortable, but it's a lovely place to feel at home in. Eileen is a great host, who is extremely attentive, friendy and helpful.

Our stay at Gardener's Cottage

We had a lovely stay at Gardener's Cottage and Eileen greeted us with a warm and friendly welcome. The enclosed garden was great for our dog and walks in the King's Forest were a real delight. The cottage was very well-equipped and had an excellent layout making for a cosy and relaxing short break. We definitely hope to return again soon.

Idyllic Country Cottage

My family had a delightful 3 night stay in Gardeners Cottage in early August 2022. The cottage and grounds are maintained to a high standard and fit our family of four perfectly with plenty of space. The house is well-stocked with any kitchen appliance you need to cook a meal. The most wonderful thing about the cottage is its setting on the grounds of West Stow Hall. The grounds and Hall exterior are beautiful and really set the stage for our outings into the East Anglia countryside. Our family greatly enjoyed our time there and would gladly visit again.

2nd visit to this lovely cottage, so quite and peaceful, excellent for pets as the garden is fully enclosed and private. Every thing is catered, there are lovely walks, we will be returning again next year.

Beautiful property

The gardeners cottage is superbly fitted out with everything you need, it’s very clean and tidy and has a nice enclosed garden, so good for dogs. It’s in a lovely position for walks and visiting the area. We can highly recommend, will be returning without doubt.

Just lovely!

The cottage was perfect really, had everything you could need. It was cosy and welcoming, comfy beds-we all slept well! Amazing night sky the stars were so clear. The Hall is stunning! There is plenty to do in the near area, walks and the Saxon village, and not too far to travel to lots of other towns, villages, seaside. Ideal!
