I love that there is new owners, they are fixing it up at the same time, looks way better. An they also have new towels.

If you're looking for a place to just sleep, it will do. There was a queen sized bed, an old wooden desk with an old wood chair that matched the desk and a flat screen TV on the desk. It would have been nice to have a somewhat comfortable chair in the room. The wooden chair didn't cut it. There was an old nightstand next to the bed with a lamp on it. I grew up in this town, the last time I stayed there was 1988 for my 10 year reunion. I'm pretty sure the mattresses haven't been replaced for many years. It looks like they have been renovating for a long long time. If the owner could put some money in to this place, it has potential. That being said, it would take a lot of money. The manager was very friendly. I love my home town and the people that live there. Like I said, if you're just looking for a fairly inexpensive place to lye your head down for the night, it will do. I couldn't even find an ice machine. I stayed three nights. I thought about checking out after the first night. I stayed because it was clean and I don't need all the frills. An ice machine would have been nice. I'm sorry for the blunt review, but I call them like I see them.

Room was comfortable and fairly quiet. They are in the process of renovating the motel, which was needed, so some cosmetic details are unfinished. This did not detract from our stay and we will return on our next trip thru the area in late summer. The room rate was unbeatable.

A little place being remodeled. It had what we needed for the night, a clean bed, clean bathroom, and a mini-fridge. The woman who checked us in was friendly and looked like she enjoyed her job.

Our room was not ready when we checked in after 5:00 pm There was mold in the bathroom ceiling. There was no dead bolt for the door, just a household doorknob with a twist button lock.

The Silver Spur is undergoing renovations and looks a little rough on the outside. However, Inside the room all was excellent. Plenty of hot water for bathing, refrigerator, microwave, comfy beds and lovely crisp bed linen. The room was quiet and we slept well. We'll return.

It's old but the owners are obviously working to update and upgrade. Front desk service was outstanding, friendly, helpful. Room was clean. Needs a new door. Could feel a draft coming in! No ice machine or room coffee makers. Some unsetlling parking lot activity one night, a couple cars cruising thru slowly with lights off, Management did respond quickly at the report and went out to check.

Let's be fair. This was the least expensive place we've stayed on this trip, and because it was so cheap it provided good value for money. The insides of the rooms were fine. Clean and comfortable. Everything worked. Walls were a little thin, but it wasn't a problem. Neighbors turned off their TV at a reasonable time.
