Fall Foliage Trip

I really don't like to write a negative review but here it is. I bought a night of stay for my son' and his wife for my son's birthday. Lang House had decent reviews and the location was convenient so I booked a room here. Perhaps they were short staffed for the summer but the bed sheets smelled like mildew, the showers were not clean and the breakfast was almost all gone even though they had scheduled it for a certain time. It's very disappointing because I booked a room here after reading the good reviews.

Colonial home bed and breakfast

Seems to have many repeat customers. Especially parents with students at University of Vermont. Coffee delicious and breakfast above average. Rooms are quiet. Beds comfortable. However there were maintenance mishaps. King size bedrooms are nice. Bathrooms are small. Location is walkable to town and schools.

Don't miss breakfast!

A mixture of business and pleasure in Burlington -- first time there. Breakfasts were phenomenal; homemade cookies in the afternoon; what not to like! Positioned well for the waterfront but a steep hill. Enjoyed our stay and would go back again for the value.

Burlington Visit

The innkeeper,Kim, is a real treat and pleasure to talk with. Her staff was great and went out of their way to make our stay very pleasant. The breakfast was wonderful. We recommend staying at Lang House when you are in Burlington.

Homely, welcoming atmosphere was a huge bonus, it was like coming home. Our hostess Kim was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. She is a genuinely lovely person and put us at ease immediately. There were no negatives to our stay, I wouldn't think twice about staying there again.

Lang House

Lovely place to stay. The staff were incredibly polite and welcoming. The location was great as it was within walking distance to Church St and to UVM. The room (Fisher) was very comfortable with a nice size private bathroom. I would keep in mind that the bed was very high up so it would not work well for the less mobile. It was however, extremely comfortable. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious!

I had the most wonderful time staying with my boyfriend at the Lang House on Main Street. The house was charming, the room was comfortable and full of personality, the staff was friendly, and the location was convenient, within walking distance of downtown Burlington. The absolute highlight was the incredibly delicious breakfast, cooked to order in the morning. After breakfast, we sat in the living room with a blanket and had coffee watching the rain outside. I have been to other bed and breakfasts in the US and in Europe, and this was my favorite bed and breakfast experience by far. I highly recommend a stay at the Lang House for a quintessential New England B&B experience!
