Pros: *Location *Room was beautiful *Creek and Buchanan are beautiful *Staff was amazing Cons: *No parking - had to park two blocks away. *Above a bar with live music at times. I came in on a Friday and the bass from the band made it hard to sleep. The crowd would also cheer from time to time which also made it hard to sleep. Saturday night was better. No live band and a smaller crowd at the bar. Still had to park 2 blocks away. *They said the only entrance and exit is through the bar. Awkward when coming in with luggage, or after the funeral I attended, but then walking through a crowded bar to get to the room. Wish there was a a k doo for those who prefer not to walk through the crowd.

Beautiful newer hotel on gorgeous property. Staff was outstanding, and food was out of this world-quite surprised how wonderful it was. Downsides-no closet or area to hang clothes, walls not soundproof-could hear music from restaurant in room late at night and mattresses weren't great.

This place is so clean and has a really nice aesthetic. The in hotel restaurant and bar are a wonderful amenity and the staff are very friendly and helpful. After a day running around seeing all the things it was nice to be able to go down and grab a bite and a drink before retiring for the night. The rooms are cozy and have all the things you’d need for a great stay readily available. I’d definitely stay here again for future travel in this area.

The rooms were amazing when we got inside. Checkin was an issue because the third party sites don’t mess with their system. You have to do a pre-check in which we didn’t know about.

It’s a very nice. The whole place has a cozy feeling with nice clean rooms and everything feels fresh. The people working especially are very nice, helpful, and make for great conversationalists.

A Buchanan beauty

The hotel is in excellent shape with recent improvements in both the interior and exterior of the building. We reserved the ADA compliant room with a new roll-in shower and lots of safety rails around the toilet. The room has a bright contemporary decor and new furnishings. The staff did an excellent of familiarizing us with our room and the overall property. They have breathed new life into a landmark establishment located in a quaint southern Michigan town.

Hidden gem!

What an amazing place! Very clean and comfortable! The food at the restaurant was good too! The farmers market was fun on Saturday. Totally recommend and would definitely go back.

Little town, big value

Surprisingly high quality hotel/bar/restaurant. Very new and clean. Owners and staff are very friendly good people. Cant wait to go back!
