The hotel needs upgrades and a little better cleaning..but the linens were clean and the hotel wasnt noisy. The breakfast was great and the staff very helpful. Happy that my cat was allowed for the stay.

The staff were wonderful and the air conditioning worked very well. But the room was not very clean and the furniture and room were quite worn. The door lock was damaged/broken, the chair looked as though a cat had used it as a scratching post, the fridge was not level and was difficult to open. The first room we were put in had left over A&W in the side table drawer.

The staff and area was perfect. If you really like the cold this is the place for you.. The building has boilers which are turned off for the season.. Too early I think. We had to check out earlier. Thanks for the heater… It was a pet room maybe other rooms don’t need heat. The breakfast made up for it thanks! Maybe let tenants know it will get chilly at night if 5C outside!

Stayed here a couple times now and we’ll be staying again. For the price it can’t be beat, especially if you have young kids. The kids like the pool, and the breakfast is SO much better than the usual included breakfasts at most hotels. For the price it’s 5 stars for sure.

I have read a lot of negative reviews on this hotel but I am going to give my honest opinion. Was it a 5 star hotel, no. But I would stay there again and again. The price was very budget friendly. The staff was exceptional. They were extremely friendly and helpful, always a pleasure speaking to all the staff we encountered. We ate at the connected restaurant for 3 meals and they were some of the best meals we all have ever eaten. The service was a bit slow for getting our food for Sunday supper, but when the meals came there were 0 complaints. The staff in the restaurant were also super friendly and helpful. The pool was good too, clean and fun. My only complaint there would be the hot tub could have been hotter. The hotel itself is quite old, but they are working at making it nice. The rooms you could tell were renovated, somewhat cheaply I would say. like instead of replacing the doors, they just changed out the locks and painted them, so you could see all the old bolt holes and such. the paint job itself wasn't the greatest, and that goes for the whole room. nothing was high end, that is for sure, but I think that is how they can keep the costs down. I felt safe there, very quiet for sleep, beds were clean. I would reccomend it to anyone.

The facility was good with a great water park. Attached restaurant was good but servings did not match what was on menu. Our room was very dark, difficult to read with lights on and dark except for where lamps were. There were a couple repair issues that needed to be taken care of. Heat is centrally controlled so we could not raise temperature in room.
