Really like this hotel. Very picturesque surroundings. Good budget hotel. Wetherspoons nearby for food and breakfast but other up market alternatives. Quiet.

Bit noisy as adjacent pub stayed open until 1.00 am. Room hot as you can open the window about 2 inches but you can ask for a fan which worked really well. I would stay again, great value for money.

Room was sparse and clinical. Seemed as if maybe a sofa or desk had been removed and a single chair put in its place. Felt like a hospital room or care home. Very clean and staff were great but wouldn’t stay in a room like that again. Disappointing.
