Fantastic 7 night stay while travelling on my own for a course. The food was delicious, the staff were gorgeous and the location was perfect. Small rooms BUT as a solo traveller that made me feel even more at home. Will deffo stay there again if in Bristol

Beautiful Hotel

Booked here cos it's walking distance to our son's dorm who just graduated from Bristol University. Very unique interior with a vintage vibe. Love it. One downside is that no air con.

Had to transfer from a room on arrival as the window backed on to a patio area with people outside, then was given a room 2 floors up and unfortunately lift wasn’t working which we was informed about 2 weeks before. The room next to us was being renovated and also the restaurant bar area was closed on 2 of the 3 nights we stayed. Plastic over the stairway. We was given clean towels each day on the made bed but there were dirty glasses and cups left and coffee and tea not restocked. It’s such a shame there were so many things - as we were there for a wedding and some of the nice touches would have been well received if only the basics were ok - we did ask for someone to contact us before reviewing but no one did.
