Taivas Haus, meaning House of the Heavenly Sky in Icelandic, is located less than a mile from Main Street Breckenridge with access to the Shuttle Service within .2 miles.



The Space:

The Residence

Welcome to Taivas Haus, a thoughtfully designed 4-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom mountain retreat offering two stories of elevated comfort. The main floor showcases an expansive great room, reminiscent of a Viking longhouse, with an inviting living area, a chef-inspired kitchen featuring a large island ideal for catered culinary experiences and a wine cooler, and a dining table that seats up to 10 guests. Entertaining is effortless thanks to the convenient powder room. The luxurious primary king suite is also on this level, complete with an en suite bathroom featuring a relaxing garden tub and a private steam shower for a spa-like experience.



Downstairs, guests will find a second spacious gameroom with a sofa bed, card table, billiards table, shuffleboard table, and a large flat-screen TV for endless entertainment. Sleeping arrangements include a king bedroom with a twin-over-twin bunk, a queen bedroom, a full bath in the hallway, and a second king en suite with a cozy day bed for extra sleeping space.

Surrounded by sweeping mountain vistas, Taivas Haus embraces outdoor living with a spacious deck perfect for alfresco dining and a natural gas grill for year-round grilling. Soothe your senses in the hot tub or gather around the firepit under the stars. A brand-new sauna (coming soon) will add to the home’s wellness offerings, ensuring relaxation after days of mountain adventures.

Getting Around:

.9 miles from Main Street and .2 miles from the shuttle pickup and drop off.



Other Things to Note:

Travel & Transport:

Colorado's traction law, active from September 1 to May 31, requires passenger vehicles to have at least one of the following: snow/all-weather/M+S tires with adequate tread of 3/16th of an inch, a four-wheel/all-wheel drive vehicle with all drive wheels engaged, or chains or an approved alternate traction device. These requirements are mandatory on certain highways like I-70 and 285 during the season, regardless of current weather. This includes reasonable expectation of the ability to drive with snow and ice present. We cannot provide refunds for vehicles that become stuck or require towing, and we are unable to provide recovery services. Winter Weather Advisory: During winter and some months surrounding the winter season, all driveways, walkways, decks/patios, and roads may be covered in snow and ice, requiring caution and adequate footwear for persons and vehicles to have four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive for safe navigation of area roads.





Each home comes with an Amenity Kit that includes 2 rolls of Toilet Paper per bathroom, 2 paper towel rolls, dish soap, and some dishwasher tabs. We can provide additional items for an additional fee.

The home offers parking for up to 5 vehicles, with a heated 2-car garage.

Hot Tub is serviced prior to check-in and is not guaranteed to be warm on the day of check-in if a full service has been completed.

No pets - $750 charge if undeclared pets found on premises.

Portable Air Conditioner, 2 - 1 Person Kayaks, Hammock, & yoga mats available for additional fee. Bikes are through a 3-rd party vendor with a discount code. Must request 72 hours prior to check-in for availability, not guaranteed.

No smoking allowed - $750 Fee

Security cameras on-site over driveway and walkway.

Fireplaces shut off May 15-Sept 15 due to radiant heat.
