An incredible property rich in history, with a modern, well-equipped room to compliment it. Food options were extensive and delicious. Breakfast was great, very high quality, and very attentive staff. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. "

"Check in was a breeze, straight up to my clean and warm room. As it is at a services there are options for you evening meal. Had a comfy bed and a good sleep. Woke up early to a tasty breakfast buffet so plenty to eat and a good variety. Everything you need forba short stay. "

The highlight for us were the friendly and helpful staff in every department from checking in, to the bar staff, breakfast staff and those in the Spa. "Willow Cottage was a great base for our week away exploring Yorkshire (including a fantastic day at The Great Yorkshire Show). James et al were accomodating in every way and nothing was too much trouble. The cottage has a well equipped Kitchen with some essentials, and plenty of storage space throughout. A handy welcome booklet, some local attraction leaflets and local OS map are supplied which came on very useful when thinking up of ideas to entertain our young kids. Harrogate/Knaresborough are worth an explore and only an easy 30 minutes drive, and we were closer to York than initially thought. A lovely stay, would highly recommend. "
