The Stay was very nice. The staff were very helpful and went above and beyond to help us check in. We would have stayed for a meal if the prices were more competitive or there was some other incentive to eat at the restaurant.

I liked that it was easy to get train into Edinburgh in 15 minutes. The bar and grill were lovely and relaxing. The food in the grill was first class but very expensive as was the drinks. The room we had didnt have a fridge which was disappointing even chill bottles of water

Dakota are useless

They lost my pre-paid booking and charged me a second time for the room. On top of that, they gave me avtwin room instead of a double. I assumed it was my mistake, but it was them. I'm so annoyed that I had to sleep in a twin room and pay twice for the priveledge. What a shambles.

Convenient & great value.

I frequently stay here & this is the only time I have come across them putting 2 single mattresses on what should be a double bed. It was most uncomfortable. Other than that it’s always lovely to stay here, staff & facilities are excellent.
