Not what I expected from the reviews

The front desk clerk (maybe her name was Jenny? Her friend who was hanging out in the lobby called to the back for her when I needed something) was friendly and helpful. Although we requested a handicap accessible room, we were placed in a standard room with a torn blind. When we asked for a change, she cheerfully gave us what we had requested. However, this room was covered in dust bunnies in the corners of the room. I sneezed throughout the night. The walk-in shower floor was stained by what I hope were tire marks from wheelchairs and/or walkers. It was black. Breakfast ended at 9:00, but by the time we got there, food was scarce. Overall, he place seemed dingy and in need of an update.

Females and locals stay far away!

The night clerk is extremely rude to guests coming in not from over 50 miles away. He states there is a rule about not allowing locals to stay in this hotel. If you are female do not ever book this hotel.

Reasonably priced room and clean. While some amenities were a bit outdated, everything was functional and clean. The breakfast was very surprising on how much they offered. The staff were very polite and friendly.

Solid stay

Very convenient and efficient stay on trip from OH to NY. Room and breakfast were as expected at a Hampton Inn. Pool room and water were on the cool side, so my son and I cut short our evening swim and skipped our usual morning swim. Bed was a bit soft for my back.

Almost great

Check in was great, Lisa was super friendly. The room was as advertised and comfortable. The hotel checks on you after you check in to make sure you have everything you need. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The cons, the hot tub was closed and the pool water was very cold. The pool was clean though and they had plenty of clean towels which is appreciated. This would be a 5 star review if it wasn't for breakfast. We stayed two nights and barely got any food. Penn State had a home playoff game which meant any hotel within an hour was booked up. All of the food was gone early the first day and pretty much the same the next day. Kind of a downer we had to go to McDonald's for breakfast when it's part of the deal. The ONE lady they had on for breakfast worked her tail off but couldn't keep up. Kudos for her for trying but shame on management for not stepping in. I would understand if you sold out to professional eaters but that didn't seem to be the case .

Amazing Staff

It was a good room but it might be becoming due for a reno. We have stayed here before and the staff was as friendly as they are always. No complaints about the people there just the hotel might be due for a reno.

Very easy hotel stay! They did not restock our towels or make the bed, which was strange but that’s okay, we could have asked for it. Aside from that- the water pressure and the time it takes for the hot water to turn on in the shower were my only issues. Overall, the hotel was fine! Would definitely stay again.
