The room we had was a 1Bedroom Suite with Kitchenette.The room had everything you might need. BUT... It was very shabby and dirty.There were stains everywhere. It looked like there were untreated blood stains on the sofa cushions in the sitting area and cloth headboard in the bedroom (see pics). We put a blanket on it.There were stains on the white curtains, The dining room chairs were horribly stained. The bathroom floor looked like it was mopped over with a dirty mop. There were hairs all over.There was a half eaten cookie on the rug.The balcony chairs were stained and there were bee nests near the light and corners. The cookware was put away dirty.I see that others have complained before me however it seems Harborside Suites has not addressed the problem.The person at the front desk was not friendly at all. The front desk at the Inn at Little Harbor was exceptionally friendly and professional. That is where you have to walk to for all the outdoor activities. Tennis raquets, Shuffle board, and the pool because the pool at the Harborside was under construction although there was no work being done during our week. The grounds were beautiful, you have access to an outdoor patio equipped with bbq, tables and chairs. The sunsets were fantastic. We had a rainy day and there was nothing to do. the neighboring area isn' t the best . The beach is not taken care of. covered with stuff. It's not raked or anything but the water is very calm. You can enjoy the water with gentle waves.

Budget Inn Of Avon Park

4.0 Nice place for the money

I usually have a place to stay when visiting the area, but not this time around so I booked a room at the Budget Inn. Being familiar with the area, I can honestly say, I wasn't expecting much other than a bed and a shower. What I found was much more. The bathroom was recently upgraded as were the floors in the room. The person - who I suspected was the owner - pointed out the new pavers on the walkway and it was obvious that more work was planned. When I told him the room looked much better than it did on the web, he told me that when they were finished with all the room renovations, they would update the pictures on all the travel websites. In short, it seems the motel has new owners (who live onsite by the way) who are giving the place a makeover.

Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Sebring

3.0 Over-priced for what you get.

I expected better accommodations for the money that they charged for the room. TV was small and outdated. Bathroom was small and had a single sink. Small bath tub with shower. Limited storage for clothes and personal effects. Small desk & chair. No table or couch in the room. Curtains that would not close. No ice dispenser on the 3rd floor, had to go down the elevator to another floor to retrieve ice. Breakfast bar was very plain and ordinary --- not very tasty.

Hyatt Place Sarasota Lakewood Ranch

3.0 Hotel review

The hotel was nice, however, the coffee cups and drinking glasses were dirty. The cups had lipsticks marks. This is unsanitary and will make me consider NOT staying at this location.
