The property is very dated and would benefit from refurbishment. One of the biggest issues was the lack of air conditioning, which made the room quite uncomfortable, particularly during warmer weather. Parking was also problematic. The hotel’s parking is limited and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. We were advised by a member of staff that if we provided our vehicle registration number at reception, parking would be free. However, upon checkout, we were informed there was a £36 parking charge. I disputed this, as this was never mentioned when we checked in. In the end, we were unable to secure a parking space at the hotel anyway and had to park on the road for the duration of our stay. Breakfast was another disappointment. On one morning, staff informed guests that more people had arrived than anticipated, resulting in several basic breakfast items running out, including bread, eggs, beans and other essentials. While I appreciate that unexpected demand can occur, I would have expected the hotel to be better prepared. Overall, the stay did not meet expectations, particularly given the issues with parking, breakfast availability and the dated condition of the property.

Pool dirty had to go next door hotel for a swim. Bath had hair in it. No plug had to ask for one to have a bath. Shower had no holder so had to hold it in hands to try to shower and wash hair. Next door room were very noisy. Had to pay for parking and breakfast pricey. Cheaper to eat out. Couldn't make hot drink kettle had rust in it. Curtains didn't close properly so was awaken early with bright sunshine.

Was there for 2 nights. Advertised the pool, got there and there pool was closed. (Luckily we were able to use the pool 2 hotels down). Checked into the room and the room was leaking water from the bathroom. When I spoke to reception they didn’t really care, they said it’s not a health risk so we don’t need to change rooms. They sent a maintenance worker to the room but the leak was still present. Hotel parking isn’t great and someone also hit my car without leaving a note, not the hotels fault but I believe this was due to the narrow parking.

A very tired hotel, unfortunately it needs a complete refurbishment. The price point is very similar to the Travelodge, that is more modern and comfortable. The saddest sight is the empty and rather dirty swimming pool. I am surprised that the owner has realised the real estate value and sold the land for apartments?

1. rooms not ready, had to wait, i was then moved and moved again. 2.towel rail too hot and not fixed, after a member of staff checked it. 3. fire bell went off in my room when i was in the bath. when i tried to contact reception the phone didnt work, luckily it went off by itself. 4. no remote for the TV, never got a replacement. Good stuff: 1 staff were great to deal with, although things not attended to. 2. food was average. 3.Spa and pool were next door hotel but it was fine and i enjoyed it. 4. massage treatments were great for all 3 of us. Overall I would say 6/10 but could be better with some attention to details. I would recommend booking directly with the hotel, rather than Hotels.com or another source.

I consider my stay very successful. The atmosphere and service were extremely pleasant. The rooms were very clean, with daily towel changes, bedding replaced when needed, and regular replenishment of coffee and tea. The only downside was the constant, very loud noise coming from outside the window — most likely from a fan — which lasted from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and unfortunately made it difficult to fully relax.

Room had a view of the sea, but the window was tiny, and couldn't be seen from the bed. Room was generally clean. However, i did an old used teabag behind the dressing table, when looking for something I dropped down the back. The toilet usually took several attempts to flush, and the bathroom taps had to be turned a considerable amount of times for water to come out, both were slightly annoying. Staff were friendly, during the day at least, drinks were very reasonably priced at the bar. On the whole, fine, but... they appear to have spent a considerable amount of money on decorating the bar/lou ge/reception area, yet have neglected some of the cleanliness and function of the plumbing in the rooms. Slightly disappointing, but fine

The staff here are brilliant and very attentive and helpful. Room was cleaned when I was way daily , breakfast was very nice . What’s good is you have use if the hotel next door also do you can go for a drink or food there and the swimming pool indoor is located next door. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend. Thank you staff especially.

Our room was lovely and had a partial sea view but was in a nice quiet area of the hotel. It was small but the perfect size as there was only two of us. I felt the staff, overall, weren't the best, however when we arrived we were greeted by the receptionist who was very welcoming and explained everything we needed to know in regards to breakfast, car parking, etc. However, a different member of staff charged us double for breakfast (it cost £22.00 and we were charged £44.00) and, when I queried this, they told me that no money had been taken out of my account. I then showed them proof of the money being taken and one member of staff took our breakfast ticket and wouldn't let us have it back. I went to Reception later in the evening and managed to get my breakfast ticket back and, after a long battle, managed to get the extra money back. We experienced a similar situation at checkout as we were issued a bill and, when I took this to Reception, I was asked how I wanted to pay. I then asked what I was being charged for, to which the receptionist looked it up and said "Don't worry about it". With that being said, however, the staff were attentive and didn't hesitate to respond to any requests - we asked for a fan at around 22:30 and they brought it up very quickly. Breakfast in itself was good quality, but the selection was quite limited. They didn't restock any food during breakfast so we had to choose from leftovers and other than toast there were no continental options.
