We loved staying at the Salem Inn! The room was unique and beautiful and it is in a great central location (basically right across from the Witch House). The only downside was that there was no elevator and our room was on the third floor, but they do have a dumbwaiter to bring your luggage up for you. We had an excellent breakfast included as well. Would definitely stay there again.

Loved it!
Can’t beat the location and proximity to shopping district. Very friendly, helpful staff. Forgot my pillow but we swung back by and they had it set aside. The only downside was our room faced the street on the 1st floor and the traffic never seemed to stop.

Convenient location. Easy check in. Loved the finches in the lobby. We looked forward to hearing them each time we walked in. Easy communication with the front via text. Respectful and helpful employees. Breakfast menu is extremely limited but I still enjoyed each thing I got and I’m a very picky eater.

It was OK
We stayed on a second floor room, family suite. Stairs are long and narrow. No elevators. The room itself was nice and clean. Breakfast was mediocre, few choices, and the same choices day after day.

I thought this place would be exceptional because of the listed reviews. It was only average. No elevators, and we were on the third floor and had to use a "dumb waitor" for our luggage. One person at the desk and no one to check to see if we could get a lower floor. All check in and out done by cellphone. Breakfast was a plus. Had to make a res for that. Room was clean but old. Could not control the heat. It is conveniently located to downtown, but I would no stay here again. Parking on the street non existent. Had to park a block and a half away.

Came to the property and it completely blew my mind! It surpassed all my expectations! Beautiful and spacious room. Staff are incredibly friendly. Location is unbeatable. Steps away from all the Salem points of interest. Looking forward to coming back to the hotel.

The room was super clean and comfortable. Far larger than i was expecting. Including a huge bathroom. Was a very nice peaceful stay. I would definitely stay there again. The free breakfast was also delicious.

The Salem Inn
This hotel was amazing! First of all it's such a cool, historic place to stay. The rooms are vintage but very cozy. We were able to have an amazing fire going every night in our room while it rained outside. Such cozy vibes! The staff was amazing. Specifically, Suzanne at the front desk. She was more than accommodating and began to feel like a friend by the time we left. She and the other staff made our stay so special and welcoming. We appreciate all she did for us to make our girls trip to Salem a wonderful weekend! We appreciate your hospitality Salem Inn!!

It is always such a pleasure to stay at Salem Inn. My daughters and I have such special memories of our times there. I brought one of them several years ago (in the summer), and this time brought the youngest (in the winter). Both stays were wonderful. The staff is so helpful and friendly, the breakfasts are great, and we love how easy it is to walk everywhere we want to go - with parking included and nearby, we can just park the car and forget about it until we check out. I will stay at Salem Inn whenever I have a chance to get to Salem.
