"We loved the area, but the house itself is superb! The heated pool is worth its weight in gold and we have never rented a holiday place so consistently providing all the little niceties that make a stay so much more pleasant: soap, plenty of toilet rolls and napkins, dishwashing and washing machine soap, salt/pepper/sugar… the welcome wine is a really nice touch .and providing coffee capsules is going above… all the furniture is solid, nice and very comfortable, lots of pillows and cushions, everything is spotless and perfect looking, we could not find ANY shortcoming!!! The place would be nice for 6-8 people but for 4 elderly ladies, each with her own bedroom and bathroom (and two downstairs, not often found, great for mobility problems!). The area is quiet (luckily) but very pleasant… not the place if one wants bars and noise, perfect if wanting peace and calm (or endless golf, so many choices nearby!). The best among the several dozen houses we have rented in half a dozen countries over the last 15 years! Jon went out of his way to make our stay easier, responding promptly and supplying extras… and was very understanding about the measuring jug we broke!!"

"Good size apartment, close to the beach. Washer/dryer was handy. For such a beautiful part of Portugal there was a disappointing view out of the apartment - looking at other buildings and being overlooked by them. Certainly not the stunning ocean view shown in all their marketing material. Also disappointing not to be able to control the heating given the cold wet weather in mid March - it did feel a bit cold in the apartment at times. "
