Perfectly placed

Fantastic host, house was immaculately clean. The village is lovely, locals very helpful and friendly. Bonus of a park and football cage to the rear of the property. Great location to explore Northern France and Belgium. Sabine was very helpful throughout our stay.

Great break

Lovely spacious house. Very well equipped. Stair were very steep, so we were glad there was a bedroom and bathroom downstairs Great to have an enclosed garden too. We made friends with a gorgeous neighbourhood ginger cat!

Summer holiday

This was our first time holidaying in France and it didn’t disappoint. The house has everything needed to make the break enjoyable, with plenty of room, beautiful deck and grassed area and the bonus for our boys was the sports area at the back of the garden, where they made lots of friends. As a base this was perfect and we used the local pool with a great slide and inflatables. We were able to food shop local and had a day in Lille which was excellent and experienced some basketball playing from the Olympics. We will certainly return as we had a fabulous time.

Super stay

This was our second visit and lived up to all our expectations ! The weather wasn't brilliant so we were so pleased that the house has a large kitchen dinner with an additional seating area as well as the lounge with TV. Plenty of space for 5 adults and a 4 year old to do what they wanted without getting in each others way as well as providing enough space for everyone to sit together to eat and relax. The four spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms meant that we all slept well and could easily get ready for the day. Communication with Sabine was very excellent, she helped us out with an early check-in,messaging when the house was ready and sending the key safe code. We had an issue with the heating which she very quickly resolved. Thank you Sabine for all your help and a most enjoyable stay. We look forward to returning soon.

Fantastic !

We had an absolutely fantastic stay, thank you so much Herve and Sabine. The house was perfect for us in terms of space and location. The facilities, decoration and garden provided everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable visit. The enclosed rear garden was so good with a 4 year old and the stair gate meant that we were able to let him play and sleep safely. The large kitchen dinner was well equipped and enabled us to sit and eat together as a family. The sitting room gave us space to watch TV or sit and chat. The two bathrooms meant that we were all able to get ready easily and were both bright and airy. All the bedrooms are large so no one felt they had lost out ! We loved the interior decoration and individuality of the property. The location was super a few minutes walk to the local bars and restaurants and a short car journey into St Omer. We are all very much looking forward to a return visit.

Prachtig huis, heel fijn dat we op gas konden koken en in de tuin was het heerlijk ontbijten aan de picknicktafel. Alleen in Bollezeele zelf is weinig te beleven, we moesten steeds 20 tot 30 min met de auto naar Duinkerken (strand en duinwandeling), St Omer (kayakken in de Clairmarais), Lille (shoppen met tienerdochter) en Cassel (prachtig stadje op een berg met weids uitzicht). Al met al een mooie week gehad, maar met grote kinderen is het wel een uitdaging. Merci beaucoup pour tout, Sabine!

Gite spacieux et agréable

Nous sommes venus à 7 (4 adultes et 3 ados), le gîte est spacieux, aussi bien pour les espaces communs que pour les chambres, tout est très propre et très bien entretenu. Gîte à l'ambiance chaleureuse. Bien situé pour les visites, joli petit village, et pour les enfants un terrain de foot/basket avec un accès possible par le jardin. Vraiment heureux de notre séjour

Gemütlich und einladend

Excellent accueil de Sabine, dans une vaste maison charmante tout à fait adaptée pour un séjour familial à 10 à l'occasion d'un mariage dans la région. Équipement tout à fait satisfaisant. Seul bémol partagé avec Sabine, le canapé lit du salon à changer, trop étroit pour faire un double couchage supplémentaire et plutôt inconfortable même pour une personne. Mais il y aura sans doute prochainement du changement ! A bientôt Sabine !
