Regular hotel with superb restaurant

The hotel is quite basic but the location for me was excellent and there is plenty of convenient parking. The staff are very pleasant and friendly. The piece de resistance however, is the food here. The food is really excellent and I enjoyed the two dinners I ate here very much. There is a superb selection of freshly cooked food and a bar with good drinks to accompany. For this reason alone I would not hesitate to return to the hotel.

This was a really useful stop over for us. Good prices. Rooms small but adequate. Our bed had a good mattress but my grown up son had a very lumpy mattress and found it hard to sleep on it. Staff lovely. Hated the dominant turquoise colour in the room- but that is personal preference! Needed more body wash in room. Bottles tiny , Also more drinks sachets would have been useful. Location perfect. Safe parking. Very dog friendly.

Chambre correcte mais décoration "marron" à revoir. Suffisant pour une étape mais pas plus, car c'est aussi très bruyant. Les sols sont collants car lavés avec trop de produit, désagréable pieds nus ou en chaussures avec semelles qui couinent. Les service du restaurant n'est pas à la hauteur de la qualité de la cuisine. Boissons qui arrivent après les plats, apéritifs débarrassés au dessert, erreur de garniture pour le plat... Il nous a même fallu réclamer les sauces d'accompagnement pour le steak tartare puis encore le sel et le poivre... Petit déjeuner très correct et bien servi mais machine à café très longue pour 1 café, c'est donc vite la queue aux heures de pointe. Pour notre avis général, nous ne reviendrons pas, trop de moins par rapport aux plus... Le personnel a clairement besoin de plus de formation. Seule la responsable semblait tenir son rôle, mais peut-être que c'est elle qui ne sait pas comment former son équipe.
