The facility is tired and in need of a remodel. The elevator smelled so bad, we hesitated to use it. We booked our room through Expedia, then arrived at the hotel and were told it would b $50 more, because the room we booked was sold out. The same thing happened to another woman in line ahead of us.

The staff were fantastic—friendly, attentive, and helpful. However, the room needed some attention. The sink drained slowly, and the floor seemed to have missed a proper vacuuming. Despite these issues, the excellent service from the staff was a highlight of our stay. With better room maintenance and cleaning, the experience would be much improved.
