Good location close to the centre and train station. Friendly staff throughout the hotel and leisure centre. Really nice brand of soaps and hair care provided in the en suite. Very comfortable bed. Did feel catfished by photographs of the swimming pool. Changing rooms in poor condition; hot tub not working (they’re sourcing quotes to get it fixed according to the A4 sign) and tiles underfoot in pool moved about. Children still had fun in the pool thankfully.

We had to switch rooms twice because one had a window that wouldn't shut, and the other's heating didn't work. During the first switch the staff member was apologetic and offered something to compensate as well asking if we needed help with our luggage. However, during the second, there was no acknowledgement that we had been inconvenienced a second time nor was there offer to help move our luggage - we had to move all our luggage across the hotel at midnight ourselves.
