Hot! Heat was on in room The air conditioning was stated to be on but alas it was heat. Went to sightsee and came back to temperatures of 88 degrees. We do not mind using a fan and window for cooling the room but the instructions were in correct and it was a poor sleep due to temperature. We had a large flying bug in our room. The front desk was not available to come and take care of this. We called many times without assistance.

This is a perfectly serviceable airport hotel, one of two major ones very near the Bilbao airport. Fairly basic compared to a "fancy" hotel in the city, and (like 99% of European hotels) lacking washcloths. But, comfy beds, quiet rooms, an excellent breakfast spread, a decent bar, and really a short ride to the city. What's not to love? The airport shuttle starts at 5 a.m. and has limited capacity. But, the staff is well aware of the early morning flight schedule to get everyone there in plenty of time. It's like an 8-minute roundtrip from hotel to terminal. 😎

Husband and I only stayed a night.Breakfast was excellent. A good variety.We decided to take the bus. Bus stop is nearby.Not punctual. As we waited the shuttle service was around the clock. Staff was wery friendly. I think the shower needed a little attention, moldy.
