How many places can you book as cute as this one where they also give you free bike, kayak, paddle board rentals? The room was clean and very cute. Bed was great! Walls are a little on the thin side but honestly who’s staying inside in the Keys??? The restaurant next door has great food and you can walk to it. Definitely will stay again if we come out this way. Telling all of our friends with “driving the keys” on their bucket list to stay here.

Good location. About an hour's drive to Key west and Key largo the other direction. It's a scenic drive, so we didn't mind. Room was clean. Staff friendly, however, they close around 5 p.m. TV seemed to be limited to just a few 'none live' channels. Wanted to watch the football game but unable to as no live channels were accessible.

The room was very clean but the chemicals they used were overpowering. The parking was sufficient but it needed to be better lit. We never used the kitchen or pool so I’m not sure about that. The price was great and we would book again.

Parking was convenient. The kitchen wasn't furnished to cook but we weren't planning on cooking anyway. No eating utensils either. Neither of us ever saw a pool but it was too cold to swim anyway. The unit was great with the exception of the walls not offering any soundproofing...we could hear conversations in the adjacent unit. The unit had a nice kitchen area, living room, separate dining area, MBR had a very comfy king bed and the bathroom was very convenient and clean. The back deck had a nice view with a chair, table, and hammock outside. The TVs did not offer any free cable channels but it was easy to view youtube or sign in to your own streaming apps using the Firestick. It was a very nice stay.

Likes: large room/apartment that had everything you need, kayaking and tours onsite, restaurant, Starbucks and food trucks on site, comfy bed, they allowed us to check in extra early! Dislikes: strong odor of cleaning supplies, very dark apartment even with curtains open, leaf blowing going on constantly while trying to relax at the pool, the construction going on right next to our room. Stayed in an AquaLodge for 5 nights. We did an after hours check in that went easily and had clear directions to our accommodation. We were disappointed upon seeing the location of our AquaLodge, as it was in a canal, next to a canal pump that ran nonstop. The view off of our deck was not what we anticipated after seeing a video advertisement on Captain Pips website. The walk back to the Aqua Lodge was also a bit rough, as the surface was uneven due to the cable covers for the AquaLodge. The AquaLodge itself was as advertised. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the space for the 2 of us. The blinds in the AquaLodge were all broken, but Captain Pips was aware, and they had nice blackout curtains over every window, so it wasn’t an issue. We didn’t use the free bikes or kayaks. The pool was too cold for us, our visit was early January. The property was quiet, and had some beautiful views in certain areas. It is also walkable to many restaurants. We recommend Castaways for manatee sightseeing, La Niña for delicious Cuban coffee, and the Wooden Spoon for the best pancakes! We took a wonderful sunset cruise with Captain Pips marina and Spirit Snorkeling. Captain Candice and First Mate Tanner were excellent. Their knowledge of the area and the ocean were excellent. We had a nice surprise, as we got to watch the Super Moon rise after we watched the sunset, and had a visit from dolphins! Excellent cruise! Overall, I recommend CP for location and value.

This stay exceeded our expectations. The apartment was beautiful and well equipped. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and there are plenty of fun things to do with in walking distance of the area. Our favorite part was the bike, paddle board and kayak rentals already included in the price for all day, including after check out.

I found the room and stay to be pretty average, the floor was run down and the panels were separating. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean, for the price I just expected a little more.
