"we enjoyed our stay at the best Western and Ellijay, Georgia. However, we were not aware of the pool and hot tub being under renovation until after we had paid for our room. Also, we were unaware of them, not having an elevator, which would normally not be a big deal however, one of our guest had recently hurt their back and it was difficult for them to walk up and down the stairs. The staff was amazing, There breakfast was really good. And it's an amazing view."

"worst part of this visit was the man behind the counter. Not caring and very dismissive. Seemed to have a negative attitude towards women as he did not treat the women in my party with much respect or attentiveness at all. What little he did for me was borderline rude. If just for him, this would be rated at 2 star or less... The saving grace was the cleaning staff and the daytime desk person. Extremely attentive and noted that members of my group were accessibility challenged. She then asked if we wanted one of our rooms moved to the ground floor as there was no elevator. This was a HUGE benefit for my group as stairs are challenging for our group. The cleaning staff was amazing! Tomy was extremely attentive and approachable. She and her partner moved everything for my party from the second floor room to the ground floor room placing everything in the exact same spots. So friendly and helpful, by far the best part of our stay."
