Welcome to Lakehouse Resort & Event Center, a brand-new cabin and RV resort in the heart of beautiful Southern Illinois. Currently celebrating our Grand Opening season, Lakehouse Resort combines peaceful lake views, handcrafted log cabins, and genuine Southern Illinois hospitality to create a relaxing getaway for families, couples, fishermen, outdoor enthusiasts, and travelers alike.

Whether you're planning a family vacation, weekend escape, fishing trip, or simply looking for a quiet place to unwind, you'll find comfortable accommodations and plenty of opportunities to relax. Sip your morning coffee from your private porch, watch breathtaking sunsets over the lake, enjoy evenings around your personal fire pit, or simply slow down and reconnect with the people who matter most.

Guests have access to our beautiful 7-acre lake, perfect for catch-and-release fishing and kayaking. Please bring your own fishing gear and kayaks. Life jackets are required while on the lake. Throughout the resort you'll also find picnic tables, fire pits, walking areas, open green spaces, and the natural beauty that makes Southern Illinois such a special destination.

As a newly developed resort, Lakehouse Resort continues to grow and improve each season. While all guest accommodations are complete and ready to enjoy, you may notice newly constructed roads, freshly seeded grass, landscaping projects, and occasional work as we continue adding amenities and enhancing the property. We appreciate you joining us during this exciting time and being among the very first guests to experience everything Lakehouse Resort has to offer.

Guest access
Guests have full private access to their cabin and porch, along with access to resort amenities available during their stay, including walking areas, the lake, playgrounds, picnic areas, fire pits, and other shared outdoor spaces.

Parking is available near your cabin for your convenience.

Some amenities may be seasonal or still being added as Lakehouse Resort continues to grow.

Outdoor Activities:

• Enjoy access to a picturesque 7-acre lake, perfect for catch and release fishing or a serene kayaking adventure. Please bring your own gear. (Life jackets required on the lake)

• Ample space to explore, relax, and connect with nature.

Amenities:

• Clean outdoor shower and sanitation facilities on-site for your convenience.

Other things to note
Lakehouse Resort is a peaceful, family-friendly, drug-free resort. Our mission is to provide a clean, safe, and relaxing environment where families, couples, and friends can enjoy quality time together.

To help us maintain that atmosphere, we ask all guests to observe the following:

• Quiet hours are 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM to ensure all guests can enjoy a peaceful night's rest.

• Illegal drugs and unlawful activity are strictly prohibited anywhere on the property.

• Smoking, vaping, marijuana/cannabis use, and the use of any recreational drugs are strictly prohibited inside all cabins. Guests who violate this policy will be charged a $500 cleaning and remediation fee and may be required to leave the property without a refund.

• Parties, excessive noise, disorderly conduct, or behavior that disturbs other guests are not permitted.

• Please respect other guests, wildlife, and resort property so everyone can enjoy a relaxing stay.
