I quickly searched for a last minute one night stay that wasn't a hotel chain. We wanted an updated motel (my husband likes to be able to park the motorcycle outside the door) and this place checked ALL of our boxes. We wanted something quiet, cozy and close to a restaurant as we prefer to walk to and from dinner. This motel was so charming. The continental breakfast was creative and adorable. To our surprise, our economy room had been totally renovated recently and was perfectly comfortable and super cute. I feel so fortunate that we found it and we would absolutely return.

Great hotel due to late flight we emailed on the day we were going to be late owner replied it wasn’t a problem told us our room number and even left the light on. Great room nice breakfast and friendly staff shame we weren’t there a bit earlier

An older motel setting has been kept in great condition. Very environmentally friendly. Minimal waste. Be sure to carry in, carry out. Be self sufficient.

A slice of native Vermont heaven

This motel is a little slice of heaven. Clean, eco-modern spaces… beautiful grounds with a field, fire pit and areas to just relax in nature. I woke up to monarch caterpillars on milkweed outside my door. Beautiful gardens of native plants spread across the property… My son is at a college up the road and I have absolutely found my hotel; no need to look elsewhere!

Very clean! Great location. Breakfast items offered was a nice variety. The only issue I experienced was not being able to adjust the temperature in the room. (which really did not affect my overall comfort).

Lovely Stay

Easy and friendly check in. Room clean in every respect. Micro and fridge! Original art (for sale) on the walls. Updated beautiful bathroom. Very nice toiletries. Bed was quite comfortable. Outside surroundings beautiful with flowers and sculpture. One restaurant within walking distance. Downtown a short 8 minute drive away.

This is the nicest motel I've ever stayed in. The property is beautiful, with flowers, antiques, and rock walls all around. The room I stayed in was a typical motel size, but it had been recently remodeled, with solid, attractive furnishings, perfect decor, and a lovely bathroom. And Martha is fantastic.
