We found random garbage in the room, not in obvious spots, i.e. behind the couch, by the dresser, cobwebs all around in roof corners and by curtain rods, drawers not functioning properly in the private room, bolts loose in the barn door for the private bathroom and the little shelf in that bathroom as well Besides that we have liked staying here twice now, the staff are always kind and courteous

We had to find a hotel fast as we couldn’t make it home from our Thanksgiving travel due to car trouble. This is more than a 3 star hotel. I am picky & was pleasantly impressed. The front desk was very welcoming. We started off with a free cocktail. The rooms were very large with both a tub & great shower. Bed was very comfortable & the room was spotless. Lots of tv options & the breakfast was outstanding. Eggs, sausage, yogurt, oatmeal, French toast, etc. Never had this caliber of breakfast at a 3 star hotel. The location is awesome. Lots of nearby restaurants & right by the mall. We will definitely stay at Oxford again.

Asked for a quiet room. Received a room on the top floor (6th). We were very happy with the placement. No noise at all from the other guests nor the elevator. Hot tub jets were not functioning well at all, so we only went once briefly. We missed the happy hour on Saturday thinking we could go the next night, but we weren't told that there was not one on Sundays. Perhaps next time.

Love this hotel. Stayed there many times and never had a bad experience. In addition to the nice people who work there, the rooms are spacious and clean, there is a pool to wear out the kids, lots of parking, and its located near a shopping mall and Cornwall Park, and a short drive to I-5, restaurants, Western Washington U, a movie theater and the boardwalk.

The hotel was clean, comfortable bed, & excellent customer service. The bistro/bar area was nice with the complimentary happy hour drink & the breakfast buffet was good, freshly made foods, it was different each day. The pool, jacuzzi, steam & sauna areas are what we came for and we were a little disappointed in the temperature of the jacuzzi (warm at best) and the jets barely made the water move. The steam & sauna was nice. Overall, we would visit an Oxford Suite again.

This is our favourite hotel when visiting Bellingham. The rooms are great and the staff strive for amazing customer service. Even my 10yo always notices how friendly the staff are. They definitely go above and beyond. I’m only giving a 4 star because the hot tub this time around was like warm and the jets were not working. The small wading pool was a lot colder this time as well.

My family and I first visited the Oxford suites in Silverdale over a decade ago. We loved the hotel itself, the staff was warm and welcoming, the evening reception, fun, and breakfast, for a hotel, excellent. For me, breakfast and the sauna/steam room/hot tub are the main reasons I continue to choose the Oxford Suites. Over the years, I have stayed at many times at a few different locations, but the Bellingham location is the usual as it is convenient for when I’m up visiting family. But recently, each time I’ve visited, I have been disappointed. This time, I stayed on Sunday. There was no evening reception, the hot tub never got hot, though I spoke to maintenance. The steam room smelled of dirty socks, and I had the bizarre experience in my room of the in-room phone waking me up at midnight beeping, like it had been knocked off the hook. I put it back on the cradle properly three different times and within ten minutes or so the same thing happened. I finally took the phone off the hook entirely. On top of that, the heating unit or fan kept making an ungodly sound so ultimately, I think I got maybe four hours of fitful sleep. In the morning, I was disappointed to find there was no omelette bar, and the only egg options scrambled. No veggies, and only a couple of lonely pieces of pineapple left in the fruit bowl. The plain Greek yogurt was gone and the only other option was single serve peach. I would expect this from a budget hotel. Not Oxford.
